This is a good community college for getting your base pre requisites done and for jobs that require a degree, they offer a wide variety of associate degree programs that are very useful in todays over saturated liberal arts degrees. This campus has Nursing, Engineering, Welding, Project management, Programming, and many others. We even have recruiters from NASA that come looking for students for internships, externships and jobs.

Fall 2022 is my first semester at New Mexico State University - Dona Ana. All my classes were online and I enjoyed all of them. I was able to communicate with my instructors on a regular base. Getting help from advisors and from other services on m campus was easy.

Personally I think it is a great college to study at, the teachers there are always there to help you if you need help in any class. The library is always a calm environment where students can go there and self-study and have some time for themselves. The student resources building has a computer lab where I like to go and d my online work and of I need any help their is always tutors there whom can help me out in case I'm stuck in something. Overall it is a really safe place it's really comfortable to be there and any given time.

Overall, I believe it is a great school with helpful professors. Sometimes partying gets out of hand on the weekends and I have to complain about the noise, but other than that it stays pretty quiet all year round. It is a comfortable and very student oriented environment.

I think it is outstanding and there is so much love in the school, they push for success. If you desire is to be successful they will be there every step of the way. One thing they don't tolerate is failer they want bold and dedicated students that can make an impact, be bold and shape the future and NMSU is for you.

Dona-Ana Community College, is a great start for students who plan on transferring to main campuses in the future. Their classes are affordable and accessible. I feel safe on campus, when going to class and being with my classmates. The teachers there are kind, and very supportive of you in their classroom. The staff will do anything and everything to help you with in which way possible, There are workshops where you can get helpful tips and tricks in the course that you need help in. There is also an Academic Readiness Center, where students can come in for tutoring for FREE, All in all, the campus is a great way for upcoming college freshmen that wish to start small and learn what college is like. As well as to be ready to move on to university.

New Mexico Sate University-Dona Ana is more then welcoming and inspirational. I've never had a disturbing encounter there despite my numerous visits. Success is encouraged, help and assistance is advertised at each and every corner, extracurricular and groups are provided and encouraged and teachers have great intentions.

My opinion of this school is that every teacher in that school is very friendly. I like that it’s a small school. I would really recommend this school to other people if you are looking for a small college. It’s also a lit of fun people over there will mind their own business.

Dona Ana Community College, locally referred to as "the branch" (branch of NMSU), is a great place to learn! All of the staff I have encountered since I started attending two years ago, have been helpful and willing to do whatever they possibly can to help all students, whether it means staying late after class or guiding them to a tutoring center. The nursing program here is wonderful and I would recommend this school to anyone going into nursing or any other health science field.

I prefer Dona Ana because the classes aren't too big or small, the campus is beautiful, and if you want to sit in the commons area and study no one bothers you unless its your friends. The professors are helpful and are willing to help you with anything you need. The students are more or less welcoming. I like it here.

This is a great school. There is a major for everyone, there are so many options. There's a club for anything you could imagine. The university is as challenging as you want it, you could get away with an easy major and not work much, or pick a harder one with hard classes. It's a big school, but that means you don't have to settle and conform, you can find friends you can connect with and do what you want.

My overall opinion of New Mexico State University-Dona Ana is that for my only option on going to community college or having to go to the university, it really met with my expectations. It also help that it was close to my house and I was able to save money that I could have used for on campus dorms.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
College is not for partying. Take education very serious. You can have a good time when you are making great money doing something you love.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The most frustrating thing about my school is that when you have a question it seems like the staff sends you in all directions to find answers. Instead of educating you on the correct path they give the shortest answer so they can move on the the next person.
They are best known for help out the community. They also try to grant as many people workstudys as possible. They known for granty transformation to the university. There model is the sky is the limit, any body can have success!
I am taking online classes so I do not have alot of contact with classmates, but in the classes, we do disscussions, and the classmates, from the discussions, appear to be smart and really enjoy school and life.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
One thing I wish i had known is this is it. Your on your own. Don't expect anyone to be there for you because your education is your responisibilty now. It's up to you how you want your future to turn out.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing that I considred bad about New Mexico State University-Dona Ana in Sunland Park, is that there is not enough classrooms in the building. The other issue that I have with New Mexico State University-Dona Ana in Sunland Park is, that the parking lot is not big enough for the whole student body. The other problem with New Mexico State University-Dona Ana in Sunland Park, the computer lab, does not have enough computers, and the lab only has one printer. The class rooms do not have up to date computers.
