I value a personalized educational experience, so I appreciate Park University's commitment to small class sizes and its focus on student engagement. The university's diverse range of programs and its emphasis on practical, hands-on learning aligns with my educational goals. Additionally, I've had positive interactions with faculty which contribute to a favorable view.

I'm a sophomore at Park University and I'd recommend this university to everyone. Park is a great school and the staff alone are very supportive and welcoming. It is very diverse here at Park University with plenty of opportunities, whether academically or athletically. Although I am an extrovert, the small class sizes work to my advantage. Communication between my professors and I are amazing and the fact that they not only know me by name, but also know more about me is heart-warming. The school alone has a warm presence. It's more of a family-friendly feeling, rather than just paying money to get my education than leaving. I think Park University would be a great university for anyone due to their diverse courses, teaching/learning techniques, and staff and students. I'll eventually be a proud Park Alumni.

I am in my third year at Park. I am very glad that I chose this school. I have had access to opportunities that I would never have been able to imagine.

I love the availability of online classes as well as the accelerated class schedule. It has been a great benefit to me in the timely completion of my degree. I am an active duty Marine and I take classes primarily online. There are faculty professors who will come and teach on base and they do a great job of being available and accessible.

I think Park is a good school but does have its moments when things should be better but that goes for every college, they always pros and cons in things but it's still a nice school. But it can do better with some class, like for an example I feel like some classes that I took in the past didn't really matter I was just told and forced to take the class and I almost failed and that class I almost failed, really wasn't connected to my major and I feel like I was not really learning anything.

I really love the school and their way of doing things to help every student succeed! Parker is a nice place to meet new people and explore lots of options . The professors are always there to help when you need. I’m working on my bachelors degree and my professor is their to help me push through. Parker has a nice environment .

Park University are a diverse group of individuals who encourage success. the most helpful individuals are the resource department as well as professors. They are the root of our success and guidance and they provide the information and resources needed.
Cynthia
Looks like a great school to go to. It is pretty and many little shops around to go to while you don't have class. It looks about big for many students to go to. I feel like i would have to get used to my surroundings because i would get lost easily.
TRENESE
I take online classes because I have 3 more college credit hours to talk before I am done.....because I am trying to accomplish my bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and I only have 3 classes left. I am a middle age woman that is trying to return to school and I need help with funds to help me to complete. In 2016 I lost my mother and I promise her that I would finish school, it's been really hard for me. I ready to complete this Bachelor Degree.

Park has a wonderful online learning experience. They provide much flexibility so that I can learn while I still work full time for the government. They offer very competitive tuition and fees for both active military, their spouses, and for veterans. Overall, I would recommend Park for both online and in person programs!

I love Park and always have. The class sizes are small and very interactive. My favorite this is that the campus is surrounded by nature and lots of trails and fun things to do, which I love nature trails. It’s not big on partying and is a dry campus meaning no alcohol allowed in the dorms which is nice as well.

Food is disgusting, parking is horrible, student life is garbage at home games, as part of the Track and field program we have no respect, funding, or anything because the athletic program doesn't even take care of our necessities, the student life is pretty cliche-y, student weight room facilities are monitored heavily due to shady things of past presidents, Adjunct teachers online are horrible, athletic training is novice, and basically the increasing prices we pay are absolutely not worth it. As for good, it's close to Kansas City, the academic curriculum is amazing due to small classrooms, the library is a good spot to get tutoring and learn, the campus is pretty cool with underground classrooms, great business program, renovated rooms fo the dorms, and easy access to everything.
Sheila
I think it's a great School, especially for the Social Work bachelor's degree Program
Claire
Park is a great school for commuter students and athletes. If you're not one of the two, you probably feel a bit excluded. The dorms, while nice, don't foster a very social atmosphere and clubs/organizations aren't typically very active. Most students either go home on weekends or keep to themselves. The class sizes are great and for the most part the staff is friendly and well qualified. In addition, the school is extremely affordable. It's a decent college, but I can't imagine staying here for four years.
Addison
I enrolled in Park University due to its beautiful campus and wonderful programs. I knew that it wouldn't be a huge university with lots going on but at times, I wish it was. We have quite a few opportunities on campus to get involved but I feel as if there should be more.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Park University is 84%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Entering college is a major, life altering decision. When I entered college at 18, I thought it was utterly important to be as independent as possible. I moved out of my parents' house into an apartment. I purchased a brand new vehicle. I bought the fanciest technology to help me through college. I made a lot of rash, irresponsible decisions. As you can gather, I think I'd have a lot of things to say about the paths to take to my high school senior self. Here's the "Reader's Digest" version: Stay at home. Enter a community college. Save your money. Remember... college is a marathon, not a sprint. Education is one of the only things NO ONE can take away from you. Cherish it. To even have the opportunity to be college educated is a blessing. You don't know everything, let your professors humble you. Be a good friend and be an even better listener. Don't wait until the last minute to write a big paper because your professor can tell. Be honest... even when it's hard. Be true to your word. Be true to your work. And, above all, be true to yourself.
The best thing about my school is the Dual Bachelor Program. At this time I am currently getting a BS in Healthcare Management and Human Resource Management. The general courses I finish in one degree transfer to the other. The only thing I have to worry about is finish my core requirements for the second degree. Come May 2011 I will have an Associates of Science and TWO Bachelors of Science degrees.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The class advising. Because the reason i'm still in undergrad after 29 years old is because i was advise to take upper division classes while i needed to take the perequisites first
This school has everything that you need, online classes, classes on the campus, military friendly, and even fast track classes. I think that this is the school for everyone.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
A historical school in the heart of Parkville, Missouri. It has a long standing history of excellent education and an open door to hundreds of exchange students. It's voted one of the best educations for the price in the country.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
Be prepared for an extremely diverse student body and remember to keep an open mind. You ill have students from all walks of life and over 100 different countries and you may be uncomfortable or you may love it. Also remember that developing study habits is imperative to be successful academically here. Some classes are harder than others of course but you must manage your time efficiently. Dont be afraid to get involved with activities on campus, they will really enhance your ability to make friends and enhance your overall academic experience. This is a dry campus so be prepared.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
Small classes (no more than 30 people to a class.) Friendly faculty and staff that always have the students in mind (especially the student life and housing staff.) Small campus size so you're not another number, but a person. Also, Park also tends to hire professors that have actually worked in the fields they're teaching. So, your professors didn't just get an advanced degree in your subject, but they've also worked in the area and know their stuff. My broadcasting professor actually worked several years on the radio, for example.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
All of the professors are approachable. They are friendly and helpful beyond what they need to be. I feel as if some are them are friends. I know that I can come to any of them for advice or help. They are honest and have integrity. They are the reason that it is such a wonderful school.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
I rarely experienced any frustrating situations whils attending Park University. There were times when I felt the professor wasn't responding to my questions quickly enough or that it was taking them too long to post my grades each week, but things happen in everyone's life - even the professor's. I learned to understand that not everyone carries the Type A personality like me. I am a workaholic and I like to get tasks accomplished as quickly as possible. It was more of myself that was more frustrating than the college's curriculum or it's personnel.
