My desire to attend Parker University stems from a deep belief in holistic, evidence-based healthcare—and Parker’s reputation for combining innovation with tradition makes it the perfect place to pursue my dream of becoming a chiropractor. Parker isn’t just a university—it’s a community built on a shared mission to transform lives through science, service, and leadership.
What immediately stood out to me was Parker’s commitment to cutting-edge technology and advanced clinical training. From the state-of-the-art equipment in the anatomy lab to the modern diagnostic imaging tools used in real-world settings, Parker provides students with the resources needed to be leaders in the evolving healthcare landscape. The integration of evidence-based practice into the curriculum also shows that Parker is focused on preparing doctors who think critically, adapt, and provide care based on the latest scientific research.
Parker’s campus environment is also incredibly inspiring. The energy among students and faculty, the collaborative classroom atmosphere, and the wide range of hands-on learning opportunities all reflect a university that is invested in student success. The faculty are not only accomplished clinicians and researchers but also passionate mentors who are truly dedicated to helping students grow.
Additionally, the Master’s and Doctorate-level programs at Parker offer a solid foundation for students who want to expand their scope of knowledge and serve diverse patient populations. The surrounding community is welcoming, and the school’s outreach and service programs make it clear that giving back is a core value.
Overall, I would rate Parker University a 10 out of 10. It offers everything I’m looking for—academic excellence, technological advancement, strong mentorship, and a focus on whole-body wellness. Attending Parker would be more than an education—it would be a life-changing experience that prepares me to become the best version of myself as a healer, leader, and member of my community.

**Review of Parker University’s Doctor of Chiropractic Program**
My experience at Parker University’s Doctor of Chiropractic program has been undeniably challenging and memorable, though not without its frustrations. The curriculum is rigorous, and while this intensity has its merits, it often feels like the program is designed more to push students toward burnout than to encourage growth and success. The structure of the education system can be disheartening, with unclear expectations and limited support, which often leaves students feeling discouraged rather than motivated.
Financially, the program is a significant burden. The cost of tuition is steep, and the expense doesn’t stop there—the prices for on-campus food and other living essentials add to the financial strain. This has made it difficult to fully focus on my studies without constantly worrying about the financial aspect of student life.
However, the challenges have also been a learning experience in themselves. The demanding environment has forced me to develop resilience and resourcefulness, skills that will undoubtedly benefit me in the future. I've learned the importance of perseverance, self-advocacy, and the ability to overcome obstacles in the face of adversity.
While I believe Parker University’s Doctor of Chiropractic program could greatly benefit from improvements in support and structure, the difficulties I’ve encountered here have shaped me in unexpected ways. The experience, though trying, has pushed me to grow both personally and professionally.

Parker University, like many educational institutions, has navigated through the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. While the university is commendable in its efforts, it is evident that improvements could enhance the overall learning experience post-COVID.
One aspect deserving attention is the transition to online learning. The abrupt shift to remote education during the pandemic was challenging for both students and faculty. The university's response may have been adequate given the circumstances, but a comprehensive post-COVID plan for blended or online learning could be devised. This entails investing in upgraded technology, robust training for educators, and fostering an interactive online community.

This is a great school for learning chiropractic. The staff are friendly and there are always fun things going on at the campus. I am very grateful this school is close to where I am. There are many studies that move across the country for this education.

The campus is small and parking can be annoying for the growing class sizes. But its the people that make the school amazing. Upper and lower trimester students are always willing to help with classes and materials. You're not alone, the entire school supports you and will be there for you and your challenges.

I love Parker. This school has pushed me to become someone that thinks outside the box. It is a very challenging program, however, there is always room for growth and the professors are there to help you become the best future doctor that you can be.

I loved my chem professor Dr. Manrique. She is so patient and answers all my questions when I get stuck. I took chemistry at colorado Christian university and the professor there made me feel stupid and asked why I wasn’t understanding the material. It made me feel self conscious like I would never master the class. Dr. Manrique has really helped me be comfortable with science again.

Parker is a great university to expand your learning. Teachers are readily available to answer questions and do not make you feel "dumb". Officers around campus help you to constantly feel safe and protected from outside individuals. Classmates are a plus.

Great professors that really do want you to succeed. Class mates and upper classmates are always willing to help you out and give you as much advice as you need which is amazing. Location of the school is a little sketch, but the grounds are very safe. Amazing gym environment, and gym facilities. Lot's of positive encouragement all the time. Love what I learn and who I'm with.

Parker University is a one of a kind school. It provides small classes with excellent hands on professors. With having a small class you are able to bond with your classmates and help each other out. The professors are available at all times which is wonderful if we are struggling.

Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
Parker is extremely fast paced, and the courses are extremely difficult-only apply if you're serious!
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I would tell myself to focus and press hard for my dreams now, because as age sets in, so does the different challenges and realities of life. I would also tell myself not to focus on the mixing with the in crowds, and mix with the books. I would let myself know how extremely challenging the world is, and grades, determination, and attitude is all that will see you through.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The price of the school is far greater than the average Middle Class American's salary. I have addressed this with many people at the university, but they believe it allows those who are determined to graduate to apply. If I were to speak to a future prospect, I would certainly ask them to weight this heavily.
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
