My opinion of Phoenix Community College is that it is an excellent school. I have met one of the most professional professors and had a great college experience here. There are plenty of after-school events and clubs to join. They also have workshops that help with FAFSA and other scholarship applications. I loved attending Phoenix College and would love to retake courses here.

I love Phoenix College and only have gone for 2 years so far, the community is amazing, the staff and even the teachers all strive for excellency. Everyone understands the idea of getting an education and they all strive to get as good as a grade as they can.

I enjoy going to class in the evening. The teachers are very personable and really care for your success. Teachers are very flexible and do have regular office hours. Class sizes are not larger than 25 students. This college offers classes in person online and hybrid. My experience with the majority of the teachers have been pleasant. Since COVID I have noticed there are less people attending in person, which for me personally is better. There is always parking available throughout the college. I have found that this semester that most of my classes are smaller than 25 students. I have an evening English class that only has about 13 of us. This works for me because that allows us more time with the teacher. It also means we will be participating more than usual in class work. This actually a good thing as you will be able to get to know your fellow students more. The one change that I did not like is that there are not enough classes available for humanities next semester. I feel there are more online classes now than in the past. I truly hope that this college does not turn into an online mainly campus. I do commute from Casa Grande for that same reason. I learn more being in a physical class than on a computer. Everything else at this college I feel is wonderful. They do offer a pantry on Wednesdays for those that may need food items and even some school supplies. Overall I continue to enjoy this school and what it has to offer.

I am currently attending phoenix college as a dual enrollment student and overall it is a great school. Personally I feel like everybody gives off a welcoming feeling. Teachers are always happy to help as well as office faculty members. My peers in the classroom are also good and stay on taks with what they have to do.

My opinion on Phoenix College, from the times I have had the opportunity to visit have always ended up in a positive experience. I take classes for extra credits there and let me tell you it is wonderful the teachers, students, staff, families, parents, everyone here is so kind and helpful, the ambient is excellent and this campus just makes me feel safe, its like another home for me. The conversations which you can develop and the friendships you can make with different individuals is the best, everyone gets along pretty well, I love coming to this campus its on another level.

My overall opinion of Phoenix college is that it is an excellent community college. I expected college to be extremely difficult and I thought that the professors would never have been available but here at Phoenix college, the professors actually want the best for you, they want you to pass your classes and they don't only do they want that for you but they also help you. They invest their own time outside of class to help the students succeed and have passing grades! It is amazing to see how passionate past students and even current students encourage you to get involved in college, they advise you to not feel left out to always find a way to fit in and communicate with your teachers. There is always tutoring available in every subject and if they don't have tutoring in that subject they will find someone who can help you out no matter what! At Phoenix college, one of the most rewarding things of attending is that I know that there will always be someone who I can ask for help there and they will go out of their way to help me succeed.

I believe that it is a really great school to get my education. When I visited the campus they were extremely helpful in every way possible. They find any way to make you feel safe and at home when you’re new to the campus. I enjoyed the couple of visits I’ve had here and i will be attending in a week. Honestly really excited about what I can accomplish at this amazing school.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back to high school and talk to myself I would give myself a new mindset about college. College is hard only if you make it hard, also financial aid is going to be your best friend basically because they will give you free money. Sure the paperwork is long and hard, but it will all pay off in the end. As long as you do all your work, and study ever so often you will be successful in college. Apply for scholarships because any little money will help, it's better than paying for college out of pocket. Also have fun in college its a life experience that only few people get to experience.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
High school was a very different experience for me. I came to the United States from a foreign country as I was entering High School. I did not speak the language neither did I know anyone at this school. One of the most frustrating parts was trying to make new friends and not being able to speak their language. My own insecurities were keeping me from learning the language correctly and make new friends in this country. I was fortunate to find a theater class in my school that allowed me to break out of that shell.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
It is close to my home, the classes, books and class materials are more affordable than other colleges. Also, Phoenix College has a large variety of classes and have all the ones I need for my major. PC also has classes during the whole day which is great for my busy schedule.
THIS COLLEGE IS OPEN TO LOTS OF VARIOUS PROGRAMS OF STUDY IT ISN'T BUILT TO ANY PACIFIC COURSE OF STUDY BUT IS OPEN TO PEOPLE WHOM WANT TO ENTER INTO MANY DIFFERENT FIELDS DENTISTERY, BUSSINESS, MARKETING, ARTS, ECONOMIC'S GENERAL STUDY PROGRAMS OR ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE'S, MASTER'S DOCORECT'S DEGREE'S ETC.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
someone who is not responsible to complete work on their own and connot meet deadlines without some to constantly remind you. Which is the case at most colleges anyways.
I WILL BE ATTENDING PHOENIX COLLEGE IN PHOENIIX AZ. THE SCHOOLS MODEL IS GO FAR CLOSE TO HOME AN IS KNOWN FOR THE READING ACADEMIC'S AS WELL AS THERE PROGROM'S FOR GENERAL STUDIES AND THEY ALSO HAVE A VERY GOOD DENTISTERY PROGRAM.
The best thing about Phoenix college is it's flexibility. I love the fact that I am able to do both online and traditional classes. I work full time so being able to have the options to do online or traditional works perfect for my life. The online system is so simple to operate and doesn't take too much time to get started. If you are a busy person, which most are, I reccomend this school to you!
Because culinary and baking courses are offered at the school, there is an actual cafe that you would have to book a reservation to eat at. And the food there is really magnificent! Besides that, there is a cafeteria that has a sushi bar, pizza/burger/hot dog station, salads and sandwiches, and a taco burrito bar.
This may sound bad, but I've never been to one game. Not because I didn't want to, but because I was working so much. But I have heard that the games become extremely competitive and that they are very lively.
Classes consist of thirty or less students. We do have lecture halls that have more students, but for the most part the class sizes are small. We also have tables instead of desks, which impacts the social atmosphere by ten fold.
My overall opinion is that the school is okay. I am too busy after school to be involved in any after school clubs or activities, so I haven't experienced how that is yet.
I decided to go to Phoenix College solely based on its location. I live really close to it, and my job is located on the same street, as well as the physical therapy clinic that I attend.
What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
I believe that a stereotype would be that people just get stuck there because they change their major so many times. I would also say it's for the "lower/middle class". I believe that this is true. Out of the many people I have encountered, the most common answer is that they have been going there for three years, even though it is a two year college.
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
76% of students attending Phoenix College receive some sort of financial aid.
62% were awarded federal grants.14%received federal loans. Many students do also need to apply for additional private student loans.
