What's your overall opinion of Post University?

Tyler - 05/22/2024

Post is an excellent school because the classes are easy, so it’s like a breeze earning your degree. The professors want to see their students succeed, and they are always available to help you if you need help. The only thing I don't like about Post is that there isn't any tutoring available. I had honors classes and they were a little challenging, but when I reached out to the tutoring center they were not helpful. Thankfully I was able to contact my professor who helped me.

My opinion of Post University is that it is a fantastic school. I am enjoying my time as a student and the faculty and staff of all departments are extremely helpful. I am a full-time online student and the flexibility available allows me to get the education I wish to receive.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

As a high school senior, I was doubt ridden and incredibly fearful of how my life would turn out after high school. With that in mind, I would counsel myself to stop and look at the economic environment that I'm in. I would counsel myself to do this because when I finally did it as a high school graduate, I found out what my real dream was. You see, I love my hometown, in all of its lack of youth culture, bad economy, homelessness problems, and glorious lack of overall purpose. And I love technology, video games, and all of the things that have traditionally been sidelined by the leadership of my hometown. So when I finally thought about where I wanted to live, and what I wanted to do with my life, I discovered that I wanted to stay in my hometown and improve it. I want to found a video game development company with the brightest minds of backwater city, and make it great. I want Madera, my hometown, to be recognized as my origin. My goal is to honor my family, and my city. And I will do anything to make that possible.

  3. Describe the students at your school.

My classes are online so I don't interact with them as much as I would in a real class but I do talk with them on the discussion board. They give me good feed back on things I post and they encourage me to keep up with what my goal is.

  4. Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.

My school is small but it feels like a big family. There is a lot of thing to do like going to events plan by the school: like going to six flags. The classes are small and a lot people like that because thy feel better talking in front of a small crowed of people.

  5. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The worst thing about this school is the distance between each building. Whenever you have to go to class you have to go from one building to another. Sometimes the weather will be horrible, but you still have to walk outside in that weather just to get to your other class. The most annoying walk is the long path from the Leever to Drubner athletic center. When you have to walk back up to class from Drubner you have to walk up two long hills to get there.

  6. What kind of person should not attend this school?

You shouldn't attend this school if you prefer big schools that are located in the city. Because this school is located in the country area of Waterbury, where there are alot of trees. Which can be good or bad at times. Also the campus is small but it is just right for most people and it is also good for me so if you prefer schools that are big and are located in the city with a large campus then Post University is not for you.

  10. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

The helpful nature of the staff from the advisors to the professors. I have never attended a college where the staff was so willing to help and listen to the students needs and concerns as at Post University. It was one of the primary reasons I chose to attend this school compared to others. I was confident of their support, which I find particularly important when considering and attending an online program.

  11. What's unique about your campus?

The best thing about my school is it is the right size for me, it's not located in the city or a populated area since I wasn't born in america there is no possible way that I can get lost if I go anywhere on my own. Plus almost everything is in walking distance if you don't own a car, and we have fresh food everyday at the cafeteria, and the cafeteria also keeps good time for students that have late classes. And last but not least the living arrangements are great for me at least.

Also, I maintain a full time job and care for my 2 year old son. Intead of running to class every night I work, spend time with my son and then hit the books at night. So convenient!
