Pueblo community college is a very educating and fun place to go even though technically I am a concurrent enrollment student before I start there next year that I am already like one of the students there and every staff and mentor is kind and trustworthy and very considerate of my situation.

My overall experience of Pueblo Community College has been great so far. I am currently a Concurrent Enrollment student which means I am getting my prereqs out of the way (basics). This has been my first semester attending a college (Spring 2023) and it has taught me so much in very little time. It has taught me to speak up more, stay on top of my work, and to study as much as possible. I also learned new skills in my classes such as English Literature Arts and Biology. I am 3 months into college and have 2 more months to go! College to me is taken very seriously because it all depends on my future. The professors at Pueblo Community College are very easy to speak to and get along with, if you have any type of questions, they will get back to you as soon as possible in a very respectful manner. There are many opportunities to seek help such as requesting a tutor, booking a librarian, requesting a study room etc. I am so glad I chose this college for Concurrent Enrollment and I plan to further my education here!

It is a amazing campus. That welcomes all. Doesn’t matter, what age, or level of education. PCC really try’s to Facilitate everybody’s needs. My first experience with advising financial aid and the coaches was exceptional. They were patient and able to help me through the entire process.

I think that the school is great, they keep programs small and intimate which is perfect for learning and teachers are usually good about responding to emails fast.

I have loved studying at PCC. The administration and staff have been so warm and welcoming. They were very helpful in the entire pre-approval process, and made me feel as if I already belonged. All of my instructors and classmates are very helpful and we all work together to make each other succeed.

Pueblo Community College is the fourth post secondary school I have attended and it far exceeds all the others. The class sizes, even in the gen ed classes, are easily manageable. The instructors are second to none; they are available, excited to teach and incredibly knowledgeable! On campus every faculty member and staff you meet are excited to make your acquaintance, get to know you by name and are outrageously encouraging.

My overall opinion of Pueblo Community College is, there are very few additions to this campus that could make it a better educational environment. I accredit much of my academic success so far to the faculty and dedication of professors. As a later in life student I am very happy I have the opportunity to begin my long academic career and journey at this institution of success.

I have been a student at Pueblo Community College for several years. I earned my Associate of Science degree and transferred to a state college, after a few years I returned to Pueblo Community College to continue my education. I love how small the class sizes are, they allow a student to have a better learning experience and seek help easier if its needed. I also love the affordability that a community college offers. When I attended a state college, I paid almost double per credit hour in comparison to Pueblo Community College.

Overall, I greatly enjoyed my time at Pueblo Community College! The smaller class sizes were ideal for young, nervous students, such as myself, who were venturing out into the world. The teachers were knowledgeable on their class topics and were always available to help. Although, the location of the school was not my preference, the campus was neat and well organized. The staff was always kind and helpful when I had any questions or issues. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone in the area who was looking for a reliable Community College.

Pueblo community college is a safe and well taken care of school environment. People are there for each other no matter what and the teachers are absolutely caring and helps you through every class. I don't have a complaint at all about this school.

Pueblo Community College was an awesome experience! It helped me get back to school after being away for about five years, and the transition couldn't have been any smoother. The faculty is passionate, intelligent, caring, approachable, down to earth, and have a wealth of experience in different fields. The students all came from such different walks of life, but were all motivated in their academic endeavors. Because of PCC, I'm making the transition to Colorado State University-Pueblo to finish my degree, and have the utmost confidence doing so. I will credit all my future success to PCC for being the helpful beginning I needed. Every high school student should go through their local community college en route to a 4-year institution. You will learn so much, be exposed to the other like-minded and motivated individuals, make friends, all while saving a ton of money.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Pueblo Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior, knowing what I know now about college life and making the transition, I would give myself reliable advice on how I should go about getting my education. I would tell myself that I should try harder in school and to study in the classes that I didn't think was really needed in life. If I were to study more, I would have gotten better grades and not had to take them over in college. This would have saved some time and would have gotten me closer to my degree. I would also tell myself, to pay attention to what the teachers had to say about college and looked at many different colleges. Opening my wide verity or choices I could have taken, would probably have put me furthe into college. This is what I would tell myself if I could go back and talk to myself as a sernior.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The only negative reality here is some of the students have no appreciation for all the advantages and opportunities available to them. They don't realize that the brain is a miracle not to be wasted or taken for granted. Life is too short, we must live it to its fullest.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
Pueblo Community College is the best college to attend, becase they offer many degrees and class choices, free placement testing, free tutoring, staff and student support, a college center with free internet access and study areas, fitness center, bookstore with knowledagble staff, small class sizes, and a safe and "at home" feeling when you ar at the college.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
I wish I was more prepared for the college level courses that I had to take when I registered, the staff was helpful and placed me in the correct courses to prepare me for success.
PCC is best known for the Automotive Service Technology program that has been nationally accredited. I am happy to be part of this wonderful major. The PCC ASTP has taught technicians in the field currently to be among the best of the best in the automotive industry. Some have graduated with jobs paying over 70,000 dollars a year. The professors of PCC ASTP take no short cuts in teaching students the basics and far beyond so they can succed in the automotive industry. They even prepare students for the nationally acclaimed ASE certification test. Great job PCC.
The best thing i would have to consider about Pueblo communtiy college would have to be all the different services they have.. It dont mater what he question is if you need help with something they is someone there to help.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
A frustrating thing that I have had to deal with my Pueblo Community College is the lack of communication to their online students. There have been several times I was very close to being dropped from all of my classes without really being reached out to and told what I needed to do to continue my education. It was me reaching out on my own to secure my spot in my classes.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
My school is people friendly, highly educational, technologically advanced, and easy to navigate through. Instructors are very knowledgeable and so helpful to students. They go beyond and then some. Of course, there are fun activities to engage in such as theatre, fitness, variety of clubs, and comfortable places to hang out in. The staff and employees are so nice and helpful; they are there for you with a happy faced attitude. Great , exciting and an amazing place to learn and become everything you want to be.
