Rio Salado College has been an integral part of my academic journey, offering a flexible and supportive environment that caters to diverse learning needs. As a 13-year-old student who has already earned a high school diploma and is pursuing college-level coursework, I have found Rio Salado's online programs to be exceptionally accommodating.
The college's commitment to accessibility is evident in its wide range of online courses, which allow students like me to progress at our own pace while balancing other commitments. The faculty members are not only knowledgeable but also responsive, providing timely feedback and assistance that enhance the online learning experience. This level of support has been crucial in helping me navigate complex subjects and stay motivated throughout my studies.CollegeVine

Although Rio Salado may be lacking in some extra curricular activities, the whole idea of this school is for it to be easily accessible to those who can't attend a regular school. I love the small, home-y feeling the building gives me when I need to visit it. I typically would only stop by to visit the bookstore or to take a test and each visit has been pleasant!

I believe that Rio Salado College is a nice enough college where a student, especially one who is dedicated to continuing their education but doesn't necessarily have the monetary means to do so, can get their education in a professional and well-paced manner without struggling over small things.

Good online school some teachers are not interested in helping you achieve greatness in your courses. They can critique you and tell you you’re wrong even though they asked you to write about opinion

Rio Salado is a great choice for students who have busy schedules and do not have time to go to campus for class. Rio is also a more affordable alternative for community college. The teachers are responsive and the site is easy to navigate through. I recommend this scholl for anyone who works a full time job or has a family.

This college is okay as long as you don't mind every class online with visits to the testing center as needed. Some of the teachers can be a pain when it comes to grading but nothing that I wouldn't stress out about. Just do your best. That's all that counts.

Rio Salado College is an overall good school. I have been attending this school regularly since 2016 and have not had any major issues. The only issue I had was with financial aid verification, but other than that the professors are pretty good and respond regularly.

Rio Salado is an okay community college. everything is online. Not much interaction with other students or staff. Tutoring is difficult. They all have their own agenda and seem to be rushing. The classes are difficult not because of the material but the time management. I would not recommend this school to anyone playing sports or anyone who has a hard time teaching themselves.

Rio Salado is mostly online, but it's a great school for those trying to get ahead on credits or trying to get an associate's degree. I got my asssociate's through Rio, and it was amazing. I attended a few online classes, but I got most of my credit through dual enrollment, which I highly recommend to anyone

Being an online school Rio Salado is definitely against the odds. My experience here has been great. I completed dual enrollment and regular enrollment here. I was active in the Honors Program and Phi Theta Kappa. The people are friendly and never had a problem with an instructor.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
It is very important to go to all your classes and study hard. Good grades are what matter not impressing your friends. Take time to study but also take time for yourself. Remember what's important in your life, family. Friends may come and go but family will be there forever. School is very important. Get as much education as you can. Always be learning in all you do. And always remember, nothing lasts forever. It will get better. Keep your chin up and keep a smile on your face.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
I think that the school or at least my classes are all online which allows me to do work from my high school while receiving both high school and college credit.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
What I consider to be the worst thing about my school is that it is all online. I consider this to be the worst thing because there is no in person interaction with the instructors which is especially hard when I attend a high school that is allowing me to take the college courses for high school and college credit, and I am not able to receive any help outside of the books that I am given because my high school teachers can't help me.
