The first year classes there are a joke, they are more like middle school or easy high school classes. Once you finally get to the classes for your major they are much more enjoyable and actually make you think. The food situation isn't that great, they need more vegan options, some of the staff was even confused on what the word vegan meant.

Being in this school is pretty good. I have no complaints when it comes to the education I am receiving, or the work ethics of my teachers. Since I've come to Old Westbury I have learned more about what happens between different groups of people. Also starting next semester I will be able to do some community service.

At Old westbury you get what you pay for. It’s not private and it’s the MOST affordable college in the SUNY system. Food is decent and majors are scarce but you get what you pay for. Classes and teachers are almost always available. Housing is t the greatest in terms of it being very strict and there is no other options besides the dorms which makes it hard because you can be 23 and roommate can be 18 and there are no singles to choose from. So again you get what you pay for

I went to SUNY Old Westbury my freshman year. For the most part the school was good, but there do need to be some major changes within the school. As far as disability accessibilities and the food.

I enjoy the college very much, and I wish right out of high school I would've come here. Very nice professors, administrators, and beautiful campus. Everyone is VERY helpful, and wants you to succeed. They also have a relatively proud social aspect of the school with their mascot, Greek life, and sports.

SUNY Old Westbury was a school I chose out 5 that I got accepted too. However, they lied to me about giving me a scholarship off the bat and said they so not do that you have to apply for them. Then during the application process they tell me I do not qualify for any of them. The teachers I have are great but the higher ups of this school do not care about there students especially when they have been through hell and are trying to turn their life around. It is heartbreaking to know I have to pay $4000 out of pocket when I barely make that in a semester.

I like Old Westbury friendly and very diverse it is a beautiful small community. It makes you feel at home and the classes are the right size. The professors are always available. The academia advisor is very helpful when it comes to setting up my schedule. The dorms are very spacious.

I feel that SUNY Old Westbury is an amazing to start my freshman year at. I have visited the campus twice and I became more impressed with the campus. The students that are already involved enjoyed their year or years at Old Westbury. The school is far enough away from home to feel somewhat independent.

SUNY Old Westbury overall is a good college. Your experience of the college will mostly come from who you are associating with and who your professors are. Activities are always gaining around campus to have something to do. If not they have a building mostly used for relaxing. But, you can also go off campus to enjoy yourself with friends.

I love it here. Its an awesome school with an awesome environment. The professors are wonderful and don't burden you with too much homework. They lecture well and provide classes that are small and fun. The food is good and you can take as much as you want. The recreation is awesome and I have spent some time in the gym. I love the atmosphere as there are a lot of trees and birds on campus. There are also a lot of friendly people there and a lot of programs and groups you can join. I have enjoyed my stay at SUNY Old Westbury very much.

My overall experience at SUNY Old Westbury has been terrible. Theres not a single person that works here that cares about the students. I'm surprised that they have manages to stay open. No one ever answers the phone or responds to emails. Most of the students are extremely disrespectful. I live on campus and it has been one of the worst experiences of my life. The bathroom would be closed for weeks on end because of people misusing them. There is constant yelling, and people banging on doors just because they feel like it. Most people spend their days skipping class and smoking weed right outside the buildings, or just drinking throughout the day. They threaten that they have "real" police on campus but the only thing i've seen them do is give a ridiculous amount of parking tickets. Which is is schools fault for not providing a appropriate sized parking lot for a mainly commuter school. It's really a shame because the campus is beautiful, but definitely not worth it.

SUNY College at Old Westbury is where I discovered the true meaning of life. You're surrounded by so much diversity and opinions that it's almost hard to not love the campus and the people. The campus isn't the biggest compared to UA or UB, however, it's the perfect size for someone who just wants a taste of a home away from home. I recommend Old Westbury to everyone, even if their desired major isn't there. SUNY Old Westbury helped me connect with people from around the world, all while continuing my studies. To leave Old Westbury would be a silly mistake, I love it!

This school is okay if you don't want a social campus. everyone is very isolated from others. Also, the school is very small, therefore, everyone's business is in the open. The cafe food is terrible, and the only other food is nations, fake chipotle, and fake subways. The gym is wack as well as their sports teams. The only pro to this school is the dorms on the woodlands side is larger than most college dorms.
