My advice to parents would be to get to know your child. If she /he prefers large classrooms or small classrooms. If they need special attention is certain area, and the gender ratio as well as the race ratio. Another advice I would offer is how involved is your child's chosen major department in it's field. Meet with the professors, and financial aid couselors. Make sure you get all the information like what loans are available, what types of scholarships are out there. Once we get into school it's scary in itself so we love all the help we can get.

I would advised to go to the campus talk to the people on campus before you register make sure it a place that you like to be around before you register it is a lot of money going into college. I would advised talk to conuslers and admistration everyone before I would give the money. As a student you have to be ready for the challenges of life its different in High School becuase you have family members and teachers trying to make sure that you are on top of your work. In college that descion is up to you.
