University of Arizona Top Questions

The University of Arizona is the perfect institution for Arizona residents that cannot afford attending an exceptional school out of state but still desire a solid education. Science and Engineering students are greatly challenged due to the wonderful programs set up at the U of A. From personal experience, I know that the College of Engineering is one of the best in the country, especially because it offers engineering majors such as Optics, which can only be found at a handful of other schools.

The kind of person who should attend this school should be outgoing, ambitious, and hardworking. In a large university like this, a student who works hard and has a drive to succeed is needed. This is because the school is so large that it requires personal motivation in order to succeed and grow. Compared to a smaller school, the University of Arizona has many opportunities for their students, therefore a student who wants to try new things should come here and experiment with the many fields it has to offer.

Someone who is goal oriented, and is willing to find the answers when the answers are not given right away.

I personally don't feel anyone should be excluded from attending any school. However I believe that self motivated or ambitious people will excel at the University of Arizona. The campuys is big and beautiful, it has a wonderous history and friendly staff. Anyone who wants to further their eduacation will love this school and all it has to offer.

I don;t feel that there is one type of person that will find the school more enjoyable than other types of people. The school is large so that anyone can find there niche and a good core group of friends. You can make the school smaller for you by what and who you surround yourself with, but if you want to never take a huge lecture class Arizona is not the school you want. At times with administraion you are seen as a number more than a student.

The University of Arizona suits literally thousands of people of all backgrounds each semester. There is a niche to be found at the UofA no matter what your interests are. Hundreds of unique and interesting clubs have been started by students just like you ranging from longboard skateboard clubs to pre medical clubs. With nearly 40,000 students at the UofA it is pretty easy to find yourself meeting people with the same interests as you. Just be sure and get out there and make some friends Its easy and just be yourself, no matter how nutty you are.

I believe a person with a lot of organization and self-motivation should attend this school. Many times classes are very demanding and require a lot of organizational skills to do well and maintain focus. Self-motivation is also important to do well at this school because the classes are difficult and can be discouraging if one does not do very well.

I believe that any kind of person can attend this school. It is a very well rounded school and a person that is willing to be open to many opportunities that the school provides would fit in perfectly. It has a great sports program, greek life, educational system, and much more. A person that is looking for the full college experience should attend this school.

I don't believe that any certain person should attend this university. At the University of Arizona we pride ourselves in excepting a diverse group of people. When I was a sophomore I had the oppurtunity to attend an ESL class of students from all over the world. It was very interesting to have a chance to meet and interact with people who had come from different parts of the world, speaking all different languages, and coming together to study at the UofA. They all thoroughly enjoyed the school and the oppurtunity to be a part of the student body.

The kind of person that I believe should attend the U of A, is a person that strives to be and WILL one day be successful. They should be that person that wakes up every morning and puts forth their every effort to become succesful; They will do anything to be successful. That person wants to be successful just as bad as they want to breathe. Aiming for excellence and nothing less, is key. And once they become successful, they'll help others to be.
