A prospective student who is looking to attend the Universtiy of Arizona should be first and foremost be academically responsible. When first attending college, freshmen are overwhelmed by finally being away from their parents and rebel. They party too much and don't attend class and potentially flunk out. Arizona is a great school for social events and fun, however students here are very serious about their grades as well. Keep that in mind when attending college in general. It is a maturing process.

The guidance counselors make the enrollment process simple and help whenever a student needs a shove in the right direction, even for the most confused of students. There are hundreds of clubs and degrees offered. The weather in Tucson is welcoming every month of the year. Even in the months of December, January, and February students are able to wear shorts and exercise outside. The University also has an amazing recreation center for all students.
