I wish I had known that this school isn't as great as people try to say that it is. I went there thinking that there would be a lot of fun and interesting things to do in a small town/city surrounding. Instead, I found that I was in a rather depressing city surrounded by people who were so drastically changed by its atmosphere, that it was astonishing.

I wish I had known that I needed a map with me at all times!
Erin
I wish I would have known all the differences between university and community college.
Terrance
My only wish is that I knew more about the scholarships that there are to offer so I would've had more time to analyze them and apply.
Crystal
This school was pretty straightforward with students during orientation. UCF stands by their creed and offers students many oppurtunities to succeed.

I wish I had realized how big it was but once you tour the campus, you will be fine.
Katina
I wish I had known a way to get less expensive textbooks.
Sugat
I did little bit of research before I applied to this school. I knew what I would expect from this school.
Kate
I wish I had known more people.
Megan
Flip Flops are a must have fashion accessory!

I wish credits had been mapped out better and that they offered classes regularly. sometimes you have to wait two semesters for one class
Chelsea
I wish I have known the importance of filling out your FASA before each schools priority deadline. Although you may not win every scholarship, whereas in my case you may not even win any, but if you complete your FASA before the priority deadline for your school, then you will be eligible for many more grants and scholarships than an individual who filled it out at the last minute.

I wish I would have known how truly amazing it is, which would have made my decision to come here much easier. My decision to turn down the University of Florida was considered taboo by many, but I just knew that UF wasn't the school for me, and that I would love every second of my time spent at UCF. Cliche, I know. But, had I known that I'd never regret my decision to come here, I wouldn't have spent all summer comparing and contrasting.
Beatriz
I wish I would have known the fact that a student can only use The Grade Forgiveness twice during his/her time in the university.
Lauren
I wish I had known about all of the different clubs offered because there are so many to even count.
Olivia
More about the types of classes that are offered and the times they are offered.
Kelly
I wish I had learned more about Greek life at the University of Central Florida. Such as the sororities' goals, benefits, and other details.
Jessica
I wish I had known how difficult our economy was going to be. I would have packed on twice my usual lcourse load to be graduated by now and working on my Masters.
Kate
Before attending UCF, it was a new and not well known school. It had yet to establish a reputation. The one thing I wish i knew before going to this school, is to be aware of what was to come in the future. Nothing would have changed my mind about attending UCF, but there is so much going on its easy to miss alot of oppurtunities.

I wish I had known how hard it is to balance a full schedule, double major, stuyding and social activities while striving to keep an above average GPA. I was not prepared, though I thought I was at the beginning of first semester, for how totally immersed you really need to be to succeed as a student in a large university. With 400+ students in some classes, I have found I have to work both independently and with others to grasp what is being taught. I will keep working to make myself stand out in a crowd in my major.
