Before I came to school, I wish I had known that there are some majors which aren't taken as seriously as others in the job market. Meaning that you can work the whole 4 years at college, try your best, work just as hard as everyone else and still not get the job you wanted or the beginnings you need to succeed. True, that can be seen as a consequence of life, but it's a lot of time and money to just throw away.

I wish I had known before I came to the school, that living on campus was more convienent. I love off campus, and I would recommend freshman to live on campus.
Sebastian
I wish I had knowledge of all the amazing opportunities of scholarhips and school involment. Although, I knew of some scholarships programs that they had, I never thought of the broad selection that UCF has to offer to all the students. I also would have like to know more in detail of the career opportunities and internships that the University offers to the students for them to take a step into their career selection.
Breann
How much help they would give me with financial aid and how much of a pain transfering to UCF would be.
Lauren
I feel I knew everything that I felt I needed to know, as well as wanted to know before coming to the University of Central Florida
Alice
A few things I wish I knew about before coming to UCF are how many different subc-campuses there were available. Also how easy it was just to do everything on-line versus physically going to the campus for information.
Aeryel
I wish I had saved more money for a car prior to enrolling. A car is needed for active and involved students.
Ivona
-The hardness of pre-med majors.
Tiffany
I wish i had known that its takes so much time to get through to the financial Aid office, they always transfer me to different departments. So that best thing to do is to go in person
David
How unwilling to help and how unknowledgeable/ unqualified the advisors are. The entire university is like a factory that takes your money and does not care if you succeed in life.
Suzanne
How to find and receive scholarships and financial aid.
Levin
I wish I know the professors I'm currently taking and also know professors so I can take them in the future. Knowing you professor can help drastically with your grade in class and also how much information you will learn. This specific knowledge can help students with internships and even reduce the work load for the class.
Sarah
Being involved is hard work, but totally worth it in every way.
Chelsie
How difficult it is to juggle between food, friends, family, social life, academics and everything else mixed in.
Zoe
I wish I was more aware of the finacial aid process and the degree of how expensive books and housing would be.
Jared
Coming from high school I was very use to having smaller class sizes and having a personal relationship with my teachers. The first thing you release when entering a big school is the amount of people in your classes. In three of my classes I have over four-hundred students learning from the same professor. Needles to say he does not know my name. I liked having personal instructions with teachers that remember your name, and expect you to show up for class.
Paige
Taking chemistry, biology, algebra, & government all at the same time isn't a wise choice. The advisors don't always advise that you shouldn't overload yourself with hard classes during your 1st semester.
Eric
I wish I had known more about the difference between online and in person classes.
Chelsea
I think I pretty much knew everything I needed to know when I decided to attend this school.
