This would be the competitivness of the overall student body to be the super student, one who is greatly involved as well as having a 4.0 GPA. This causes many students to burn themselves out or to become overworked thus not being at the top shape mentally, and physically.

Towards the end of college, the extreme budget cuts at UF were the most frustrating aspect. Excellent professors were laid off continuously, the amount of tuition was in jeopardy, classes were cut, and class size was dramatically on the rise. University of Florida has an amazing academic reputation, but it makes me fearful that the caliber of my degree is at risk because of the state's budget cuts.

The most frustrating thing is that I feel that some proffessors make the courses intentionally difficult to weed out students. Sometimes i feel that the courses would be easier at another school. Especially when looking at the grades and number of students that drop these courses.
