I love the University of North Dakota. It feels like home away from home. I am originally from Wisconsin, so having that homey feeling is really nice. This college has a lot to do and a lot of new people to meet and be friends with. Its very welcoming to everyone.

My original plan for secondary education was to go to New York and get into fashion. The more I thought about it, the more I didn't really want to go straight from my small town in North Dakota to somewhere as big and scary as New York. Staying in state and going to UND puts me about three hours from home; so not too far away, but yet just far enough. I like that the campus is big, but yet it looks like it will be small enough to feel like home. On my tour last fall, I completely fell in love with the campus. The other students there showing us around were so nice and showed us all the fun things to do there. I do plan to go into communications and get my certificate in social media. My end goal is still to work in fashion, but in a round about way by hopefully managing a company's social media first.

The University of North Dakota (UND) has played a crucial role in my journey to becoming a professional pilot. Ever since I earned my private pilot’s license after high school, I knew that finding the right aviation program was essential to advancing my career. UND’s highly regarded John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, with its structured training, modern fleet, and industry connections, made it an easy choice. While my experience here has been both rewarding and challenging, I passionately believe that UND is preparing me for success in the aviation industry. One of the biggest strengths of UND is its aviation program. The school offers top-tier training with well-maintained aircraft, innovative simulators, and experienced instructors. The structured curriculum ensures that students receive a comprehensive education in both flight operations and aeronautical theory. Additionally, UND’s partnerships with major airlines provide networking opportunities and pathways to employment after graduation. These resources have given me the confidence that I am receiving one of the best aviation educations available. However, my time at UND has not been without challenges. Flight training is rigorous, and balancing coursework with the demands of flying can be overwhelming. Financial concerns also add to the pressure, as aviation training is expensive, and I have worked hard to secure scholarships to help cover costs. Additionally, the harsh North Dakota winters present obstacles to flight scheduling and daily life. Despite these challenges, I have found that overcoming them has made me more resilient and determined to succeed. Overall, my experience at UND has been transformative. The friendships I have formed with fellow aviation students, the mentorship from dedicated instructors, and the valuable training I am receiving have reinforced my passion for aviation. While no school is perfect, UND has given me the tools and opportunities I need to achieve my dream of becoming a commercial pilot. I am grateful for the experiences I have gained here and look forward to using them as I progress in my career.

At North Dakota University, there are many opportunities to get involved with the community. There are 300+ organizations and clubs to be involved in, along with 20+ fraternities and sororities. The campus is safe and neat, with underground tunnels to lead you to your next class if there is bad weather. The food court is large with many food options and even some fast food chains as well.

In general, the professors are incredibly helpful and are willing to work on almost anything with you. There are some problem departments, unfortunately, the math department is horrible until you get past pre-algebra or pre-calculus. The chemistry department I've heard is hard but doable if you put enough time into the class. but other than that I haven't heard anything else that is terrible about the departments, of course, there are bad teachers within every department but there are also good professors in each department. overall the culture here is great, most people are willing to help you if you need it. It does get very cold in the winter but they always clear the sidewalks and the busses are always running when classes are.

I love UND and their professors. They’re very helpful and thrive for you to succeed! I would recommend the University of North Dakota for any graduate student wanting to further their degree in nursing. The doctoral program for nursing anesthesia is mentally challenging and helps prepare you for clinical.

I look back and wish I was still attending. It's small enough to meet a lot of people on campus but not too big where only sections of people know each other. It's a lovely school and provides a great curriculum. It's known for its hockey program and provides an excellent experience for students. The only downfall is the cold winter, but living on campus makes it easy. I miss it in a lot of ways. I would go again if I could.

The campus is beautiful and I love the culture. I had a fairly good experience with the campus food and housing(I can't say much for my roommates though.)There are plenty of things to do around campus, from dance clubs and recreational sports for those who like to be active to cultural and political groups for activists, as well as plenty of academic clubs for any wishing to get a head start on their careers. Grand Forks has some fun things to do too, a really cool downtown area, and some very beautiful parks and flood memorials. The only thing I would say it is severely lacking is good science professors. I am in my fourth (out of five) year and have only had about four professors I really enjoyed and about seven that were absolutely terrible! The rest were just so-so. Also, UND tends to waste a lot of money and make decisions that anger their students.

I graduated in the University of North Dakota's Biology department. This department is full of brilliant people who know what they are doing. The classes are a lot of work, but so worth it in the end. I really enjoyed all the people I have met and the experiences here. Plus hockey here is amazing.

My professor is very empathetic and can be contact through email at any time. The grading of my assignments takes longer than i would like but is still totally reasonable. I enjoy the class and find it interesting-they do a good job making the learning more applicable to life rather than trivia knowledge.

I really love it here. Everyone is here is really friendly and most of the faculty is great. I feel safe walking around at night. The hockey games are the best part. You really feel like a community at games because we normally win and that brings everyone together.
