This school Wes the best option that I had when looking at schools and I fell instantly involve. I could feel my connection with god when walking through the halls and just outside of the church. I haven't been able to go to one of their asses but ive been planning to joy their praiser. This school has amazing dorm life its one of the best in Minnesota and it has their very own bathroom. that's something that I could prefer since I don't like running into random people that I don't know. this school is where I want to go and live my 4 years their with new experiences and life the college life.

I love this school. There may be some hiccups here and there, but it really is a charming school. Take a look at the food for example. They have these Oreo pudding cups on Thursdays, and it was the blandest thing on the planet to me. But to some other kids, the bland food they serve is charming to them and they consider it comfort food. Personally, I think mac and cheese is a much better "comfort food," but I digress. The professors here and community are a huge piece of this school since most professors actually care about you getting good grades and the community is super accepting. I think the most charming thing about our university is not the food, academics, or even the community, but the campus itself. The buildings are old and have a catholic theme, but that's what attracts so many people. People literally have their weddings here. While I don't think that our school is perfect in every category, I honestly really enjoy being here and hope that others can see what I have seen as well.

In my opinion, the University of Northwestern is an amazing school. They have such a vibrant, Christ-centered community, and connections are really important to them. I love how they get you connected to people right away, no matter your major, if you commute or not, if you are a PSEO student or not, or even if you participate in clubs and sports or not. The staff truly cares for the students and wants to be involved in giving them a quality education where they can learn more about different subjects, themselves, and other people. I highly recommend this college for anyone who loves to learn and loves community.

I believe it to be a very rigorous place for students, both academically and spiritually. I think they prepare you very well for your intended career. I do, however, also think that the campus is a bit small and overpriced. Overall, I am not sure I would say it gives a great return for the money.

It is a nice campus and the people there are caring and look out for the students there. They go out of their way to make sure that we will succeed in life. They are very God based and I can show my faith at this college and even learn more about who I am as a person. As well as what I want my life to look like. The community is very great everyone is engaged and ready to learn new things and are willing to let other new people join the community as well. This college is really is a nice place to be.

I love the safe campus and the closeness of the students. I am a member of the basketball team and I appreciate my coaches and teammates and the close family atmosphere of my team. The classes are rigorous and stimulating. I am glad I picked to go to Northwestern.

I love this school! I love the people here especially. my whole hall welcomed me and my new roommates on the first day of the semester and we hang out all the time. The sports here are great and usually everyone is involved in a sport or a play. It's a very tight knit community and I wouldn't have gone to a better school.

I love this school. The campus is beautiful and the people are wonderful to be around. Everyone is always offering a smile and no one seems to be left out. There is a place for everyone to fit in, whether you're an athlete or a musician. The entire atmosphere is encouraging both mentally and spiritually.

The University of Northwestern - St Paul is a great school for its small class size, school sprit, and wonderful campus. Here at northwestern the most students you will have in each class will vary, but you will never have more than 50 to a class. This gives you a better chance to connect with professors and get to know your classmates better. The school sprit here is great, many people go to support sports teams home and away, and there also lots of support for the arts as well. The campus is great as well, we have great grounds, dorms, and educational buildings. The one down side is that off campus living in not available unless you are living at home, married, or 21. Other than that Northwestern is a great small college in a large city. It is a great place to live and learn.

The teachers are supportive of your academic and spiritual journey, the classmates are interested in how you will go on to use your passions and gifts, and if you can find a solid group of people that you click with — you will no doubt make friends for life. I want to attend this University. It is a comfortable medium size, just the right size where the staff are still very personal. Lots of opportunities to travel, explore and otherwise learn hands on. Stunning architecture, with a beautiful common green nestled in the middle. Access to the nearby Twin Cities. Overall, a wonderful University where you can grow as an adult.

I enjoy the academic side of the University, and the campus is stunning. The faculty are super helpful, engaging, and kind. The students seem a little unwelcoming but I'm sure they're fabulous once you get to know them better. I wish that their housing policy was more relaxed and the the state allowed them to have a Social Work Pre-lisencure program (but that last part isn't there fault). Overall, it's a great school and I like it a lot; it's a good Christian community.

I don't want to sound biased, but the University of Northwestern is an amazing school and has much to offer to students. It offers over 70+ majors and minors, as well as interdisciplinary studies that allow students to create their own majors. The faculty and staff care about the students and want them to succeed in every area of their studies. Classes range from easy to challenging and are designed to The campus itself also has much to offer too. The grounds are situated right on the shores of Lake Johanna and are within walking to a five-minute drive from restaurants and a mall. The student body is awesome too. All the students are so caring and make you feel welcomed right on your first day. By the end of a semester, they're practically family.

The university has a beautiful campus. There's an island and a lot of gorgeous buildings on campus. The school is quite art-centric; However, they do have a great nursing and engineering program. The biggest problem with the school is that it doesn't live up to its values. It claims to be a Christian school, but it has one of the highest abortion rates for Christian schools among its students. They also highkey gaslighted a PSEO student to the entire student body. The next biggest problem is the price. It's 40K a year and the administration exploits every opportunity to fine the students. Parking fines, chapel fines, where does all this money go? Seriously; They rent out the historic chapel for weddings every weekend and there's a two-year waiting list. Shouldn't a Christian college be donating most of this money? I've heard the president has a gigantic house, but that's just hearsay. This ties back into my main problem with the school; It often privately fails to hold to its very public values. But, in terms of education and campus life, it's pretty great.

Take chances. Follow what God is telling you to do. Breathe - take it easy. DO NOT TAKE 18 CREDITS! Get involved. Meet people. Trust yourself.
Northwestern is best known for their Christ-centered education. Everyone that goes there leaves with a better understanding of how faith and life go together. Northwestern has a great Bible, history, communications, and education program. No matter what your major, though, you leave with a stronger sense of who God made you to be and how you can better honor and glorify Him.
The best thing about Northwestern is the aspect of community here; this is a place where returning students befriend new students and help them adjust to the new environment of college life. Students work in community with one another to learn and grow in all aspects of life. There is also a sense of community between professors and students; the majority of my professors know me by name, and they always say hi when they see me around campus. Northwestern is a place that challenges its students while encouraging them to cultivate positive relationships through the community it builds.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing about my school it is very community related, so it can seem like it's a bubble, but then during the years there it prepares you for the world outside that bubble.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
Someone who doesn't believe in Christianity. Someone who wants the what some people call the "normal" college experience. While attending Northwestern college we're not supposed (allowed) to drink, smoke, gamble, partain to any sexual induendos, opposite sexes aren't allowed to sleep in eachothers rooms, therefore anyone wanting to follow these actions.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
I tell people about how much my faith has grown since coming to Northwestern. The atmosphere there is so amazing, and I have grown in my personal relationship with God so much just by being around other Christians. My faith would not have flourished as much as it has if I had not gone to Northwestern. God is truly at work on that campus.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
Northwestern is a conservative Christian college and offers a highly academic education. The professors are helpful and friendly and really seem to have a good grasp of the subjects they cover. The campus is beautiful and peaceful, containing a lake on one side and a wooded area with a nice walking trail on the other. Students are easy to connect with, and the environment is fun and enjoyable among them.
The one complaint I would have concerning this school is that the offices containing financial and academic advisors can be rather disorganized at times and can cause some frustration.

The Christian community is amazing. The amount of growth I've had in my faith can be much attributred to the community and encouraging environment at this school.
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
