University of Phoenix-Online Campus Top Questions

The only problem I have seen in UoP is that learning teams are often hard as some members do not like to do their parts of assignments.

The only thing that affects my educational experience is that it is online and although the professors do give individual attention, it takes time to get responses.

Make sure you leave time in your life to attend your classes and get your assignments in on time. If you are a part of a team, your teams depends on your cooperation, so keep an open mind and do your best.

Being that it is an online class I would have to say the worst part is how easy it is. This sounds weird but because it gives you the chance to be lazy.

The online learning environment is the best and worst thing about my school. I love the freedom but sometimes miss the hands on experience and lessons.

Math, it's just terrible online. One of the most difficult tasks I've ever done and I've been to Afghanistan.

Was when some calcuate my Finanical money wrong and I have to pay the difference for an error of the school staff. I felt they were not able to provide me with the right information at the time. I have tp pay back amost 2,000 which left me in a finanical trouble. I have been given wrong dates about refunds. As a student attending a University, I should have never been calculated that far off, when I provide them with all the correct information, the school only concern was that they were paid their money.

I can't find anything bad to say about the University of Phoenix, it's a great school.

The worse thing about my school is that I don't get an opportunity to meet personally the fine people that I have been in class with nor the instructors that go far and beyond their call of duty.

There is no face to face interaction with other students and your instructors. During the five weeks in a course you must complete a lot of reading, labs, and assignments since your not in a 9-12 week session. Besides that the tution is more than attending campuses. So depending on what you have going on at home such as being a single father of 3 girls while trying to work part/full on-line campus will be the way to go. However if you do have the time you should just attend a regular campus

The worst part is trying to understand certain concept, breaking it down, and solving especially coming up with words that make sense where word count is right and not off, but for the most part I enjoy the learning process and the skills as well as the knowledge . I can say that it is a positive outlook for me and I love the fact that I can also challenge myself to achieve and to accomplish my goals to obtain the degree I need to move on in the field of human services.

The worst thing about UOP is the tuition rates. The current under graduate can expect to pay $1000.00 or more for each class and a graduate student can be expected to pay no less than $1800.00 per class.

I believe the worst thing about University of Phoenix (online) is that we had so many learning team assignments. These assignments are more difficult when you are working online because you do not have any face-to-face contact with your team members. Some of the members would not contribute to the assignments; therefore, the other team members were left completing their portion at the last minute. It provided a more "hostile" learning team environment because we are all dealing with personal issues that we would not allow to interfere with our participation.

Facilitators who lack the understranding of the word facilitate.

I tend to need a little extra motivation sometimes and sometimes find it hard to start projects or assignments on my own.

I think the worst thing about my school is that it is pretty expensive to take online courses. Campus colleges are already expensive as it is but when your situation only allows for attending online classes it is frustrating that they cost even more.

I don't consider anything orse about it, it's very accomodating to me no complaints.

The financial part. The classes are extremely expensive that is the only problem.
