What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year at Virginia Commonwealth University?

I wish I would have known about where all the local hangouts/popular social spots were around campus.

I wish I had known the large number of extracurricular activities here, because I would have become involved much earlier had I been aware of them when I started in freshman year.

People party more then they do anything else.

Before I came to school I wish I had known how big some of the lecture classes are. At first it was a little over-whelming because in high school my classes were smaller but you get use to it and it and it doesn't seem that daunting. Also that same class will have smaller lab classes the next day which helps you understand the material better.

I wish I had of known that I would run out of money so quickly.
