I think it is a great school. It is willing to talk about the hard topics because it knows that talking about those topics is the one that is going to cause growth in its students. And truly, the professors become almost like friends, they are there to support you and to help you because they want you to succeed just as much as you want to yourself. Everyone is super friendly and always says hi, even if you don't know them, and it's a safe and happy environment. In my opinion, you won't find a more family-like school.

I took a visit for football and absolutely loved the place and it felt like home even though I live no where close to the state nor campus and everything was so great about it from the classroom to the rooms and it’s a very nice campus

Overall, this school is a good investment, though there are some things that are problematic. It is mandatory to live on campus, which really hurts the budgets of many students since on campus housing is more expensive than off campus housing. The cafeteria services are ok, generally fine, though the hours that they are open are really inconvenient to students, especially on weekends. The professors are almost always available and work hard to make sure you understand, which is easy with the small class sizes. The campus itself is very safe and the campus safety officers work hard to keep it that way.

It is a small college where almost everyone is in greek life and playing a sport. But it is a really great community, where everyone is willing to help. There are many different types of groups, so you probably won't feel out a place. The professors are always trying to help and always try to understand our dificulties.

William Jewell College is an exceptional school for driven students who plan on doing anything from rising the corporate ladders of a business to getting their doctorate. The students become extremely close and develop long-lasting relationships since you have to live on campus all our years.

William Jewell prides itself on critical thinking. This is something with which the college excels. The academics are rigorous, and the faculty is first rate. There is an incredible greek culture at the school, which retains a small, liberal arts feel. The college provides a great opportunity for athletics, and truly prepares its students for post-undergraduate life. The relationship with Oxford University is also a plus. There are certain headaches associated with the school, like a lack of off-campus housing, tuition costs, and outdated facilities, but the positives far outweigh the negatives.

William Jewell is a fantastic school. It is more difficult for transfer students to fit in than it is coming in as a freshman. The campus is super small, which is actually a great thing, especially in the crazy Missouri weather. The faculty/student ratio is 16-1 and most of my class sizes are smaller than that, making it easy to access your professors and other students for questions. The academics are above average - they are super difficult but so worth it in the long run. You will gain a lot academically and real world experience wise attending Jewell.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for William Jewell College is 51%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Make sure you are very comfortable with the campus and the size of classes.
The small community is great, everyone feels attached to one another in a big family. You feel as though you are able to go to anyone for help whether it be academically, athletically, or socially. You always know that someone is there. The counselors and teachers are also very very helpful in helping you not only attain your goals, but also push yourself farther than you thought you would be able to.
A person who wants to attend a college that focuses on improving the academic status of the student would fit in well at William Jewell College. Jewell is a place where people who want to live in a community setting can thrive. It is also Christian-based, however, it is more open in its beliefs. A student needs to be willing to work, but they will benefit greatly from what they learn throughout their education.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

What kind of person should not attend this school?
The person who should attend this school must be dedicated to academics. The coursework is challenging and the professors expect a lot from their students, but that is to be expected from a private college.
