Truett McConnell University allows for many students to earn their degree while also progressing in their faith. The Christian background at Truett McConnell University allows students to feel comfortable sharing their faith with friends and family. Truett McConnell University also has various sports that are great competitors in the Appalachian Athletic Conference of the NAIA. I personally play baseball and the group of guys that I play with are all great Christian men. Something the baseball team plans on doing is to work in missions independently sharing our faith with others. Truett McConnell University is a great place to go if you are trying to find yourself and God.

It’s a school full of opportunity. A Christian belief where we all believe there is only One true God but no judgement for a person who is an atheist. The school is full of very athletic students who are also scholars students and respect is earned and given to each and every student.

It's a great school! Although I have only visited the school itself twice, I have taken twenty-nine dual enrollment courses with Truett. The faculty has been very accessible and have been extremely encouraging to me. Their courses are great and my professors, specifically some of them, have been very caring and kind.

I would tell myself that education is more than a classroom and books, its a means to a successful life. College will prepare you for life after the classroom. High school is only a stepping stone. In college there are no limitations to academics so go above and beyond, but most of all stay focused.

  3. Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

I love the small classrooms because it allows you to interact with the student body more as well as the teachers. The professors here are ver much involved with the campus and its students. It is great to go to a sports game and have your professor right there cheering next to you or if you need somone to talk to they are there to help and you don't get that at many colleges.

My classmates come from many different back grounds. We have a few international students and quite a good number of out of state students. 12. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

Our food service program is very inadequate and peculiar. we have small portions, undercooked food and no personalization. I, and 3 of my dorm mates, have all gotten food poisoning. Last semester there was a meeting to help improve conditions but our student body was met with the phrase, "Well, we can't do that." Obviously there are other problems that they aren't telling us about.
