Truett McConnell University allows for many students to earn their degree while also progressing in their faith. The Christian background at Truett McConnell University allows students to feel comfortable sharing their faith with friends and family. Truett McConnell University also has various sports that are great competitors in the Appalachian Athletic Conference of the NAIA. I personally play baseball and the group of guys that I play with are all great Christian men. Something the baseball team plans on doing is to work in missions independently sharing our faith with others. Truett McConnell University is a great place to go if you are trying to find yourself and God.

It’s a school full of opportunity. A Christian belief where we all believe there is only One true God but no judgement for a person who is an atheist. The school is full of very athletic students who are also scholars students and respect is earned and given to each and every student.

It's a great school! Although I have only visited the school itself twice, I have taken twenty-nine dual enrollment courses with Truett. The faculty has been very accessible and have been extremely encouraging to me. Their courses are great and my professors, specifically some of them, have been very caring and kind.

So far I really love Truett McConnell. As soon as I arrived on campus I felt like I was home. Everyone is so kind and so personable. It’s a really beautiful place and the atmosphere is amazing. I look forward to hopefully being a future bear at Truett McConnell University.

Truett McConnel has a beautiful campus. The staff and teachers made it a priority to specifically talk with me. While we ate lunch, I was impressed by the selection of delicious food. The location is ideal and very beautiful. I was impressed by the sizes of the classes and how well the students behaved.

Overall, I really enjoy Truett McConnell, there's a great campus, with everything relatively close, and the students here are fairly intelligent. The sports programs do well, and so do other extracurricular programs. The dorms are nice, and the classes are mostly small, which really lets you focus and ask questions.

I Appreciate the environment and love that Truett McConnell University has for its students. The campus is beautiful and the activities that are available are great as well. The environment does seem safer than many other colleges I have visited before.

The school is wonderful and has a family friendly environment. It’s a very clean school and promotes a great sense of community.
The music program is amazing and offers a high level of scores challenging us daily. I’ve made many upper class friends.

I love it here. It has its downfall, yes, but there is no way to have a perfect college. The people are kind and are committed to helping you become who the Lord wants you to be. They focus on your academics but they still want you to have fun and enjoy the college experience. There are ways to improve, but overall and amazing school.

I absolutely love Truett. I am a rising sophomore and I could not be happier with my decision. I play for the women’s soccer team and you feel like you are at home. It is a God centered campus andI have never felt so close to God and have a community that pushes me towards God than at Truett. This school is definitely something great to experience and so worth it.

When I visited for Overnight the people there helped me to realize that Truett is where I wanted to go. I am truly excited to be a freshman next year and spend more time in with God and with Christ like people who care for each other like a second family.

I love the students, staff and overall environment of Truett. However, the offices and the admissions staff as well as the financial aid department could use a little improvement. Between having the admissions counselor changed twice and now I have no contact information for the counselor I have and then my student numbers being switched around.. it was a difficult to get everything straightened out.
Leah
I believe Truett McConnell University is overall a great school. It teaches students how to not only get a great education, but also form an unimaginable relationship with the Lord. Truett has definitely been the perfect school for me, and the best choice i’ve ever made!
Megan
Truett McConnell is a nice school with fun activities, but the facilities really need to be updated. The freshman housing dorms for both male and female are very outdated. The new gym is very nice but the air conditioning in the work out room has been broken all semester. The food is good but some days it can be really bad.
Madi
I love Truett! It is a great atmosphere for those wishing to further their relationship with Christ. However, like any other college, it could use some improvements.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I would tell myself that education is more than a classroom and books, its a means to a successful life. College will prepare you for life after the classroom. High school is only a stepping stone. In college there are no limitations to academics so go above and beyond, but most of all stay focused.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
I love the small classrooms because it allows you to interact with the student body more as well as the teachers.
The professors here are ver much involved with the campus and its students. It is great to go to a sports game and have your professor right there cheering next to you or if you need somone to talk to they are there to help and you don't get that at many colleges.
Our school is best known for its foundational faith and principles. our faculty and staff has given us an opportunity to have that strength and I hope that they will continue to keep that ideal.
My classmates come from many different back grounds. We have a few international students and quite a good number of out of state students. Everyone thinks differently and brings something different to the school and all of the students learn to mesh what we are good at and hide each others weaknesses.
If you are looking for a small college where the faculty and staff know and are concerned about you and your welfare rather that just being a number, or getting lost in sea of students then Truett-McConnell would be a fantastic fit.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
Someone who isn't open minded about hearing the gospel. We are a baptist college but we have many other denomonation students that attend. We are not a judmental school, so really anyone who is willing to take a chance. This school is amazing and it will change your heart!
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
Our food service program is very inadequate and peculiar. we have small portions, undercooked food and no personalization. I, and 3 of my dorm mates, have all gotten food poisoning. Last semester there was a meeting to help improve conditions but our student body was met with the phrase, "Well, we can't do that." Obviously there are other problems that they aren't telling us about.
