I've never been there, but I have heard many good things about the education program, as well as the Christian morals, which is a draw for me.

I love Anderson University! The campus is private and small and centered around Christ. Class sizes are small and you get to know your professors on a personal level. Anderson always has student activities going on, even though it is a dry campus and has no sorority or fraternity organizations - which is something I value and helps create the community atmosphere it has. Anderson University is well known for its arts. I feel at AU, you grow as a person, setting a path for strong values and faith.

It is a small Christian college. I like the feel of it, and it offers what I need to become a physical therapist. It is not too far from home.

Anderson University has a beautiful campus in many respects. Obviously, the calm, clean, peaceful atmosphere of the physical campus makes AU stand out from the crowd, but the community is what makes it really shine. Openness and friendliness seem to be the standards at AU, and it is easy to make that distinction even after a single campus tour. Furthermore, AU's unashamedly Christian roots give it a firm foundation, and their commitment to not "shove it down" their students' throats builds genuine faith. Overall, AU is a spectacular college choice and one that should be given serious consideration.

Anderson University is a beautiful campus, where the love of God is evident from the minute you step foot on campus grounds. While I have visited the campus only once on a group tour, I instantly fell in love with AU, and committed to attend in the fall of 2025 as a Writing and Digital Studies major. The dorm rooms are well kept and common areas are inviting. I am most excited for the Christian ministries that AU has to offer. I can't wait to grow my faith and my knowledge as a future Trojan!

Anderson University is a small to medium size school in South Carolina. It has a beautiful, manicured campus. It just started a varsity football team and has many other varsity sports. There are few dining options on campus, but they to have a Chik Fila. The nearby town has some things to do

I have transferred to Anderson University and will begin classes there in August as a Sophomore. I have several friends at the school who love it. When visiting them, I was impressed with Anderson's beautiful campus and friendly students. During the transfer process, the staff has been very helpful and kind. The university even sends my parents emails about being parents of college students with tips and advice for navigating that change in relationship. Anderson truly cares about the whole student.

I walked away from a full scholarship to play division I volleyball to come to Anderson University on a partial academic scholarship, and I would make that choice again and again. If you tour Anderson, you will hear about the community, hospitality, student involvement, and great academics, and all of these things are so true. The students at Anderson are there because they want to be and they are eager to form deep relationships with each other and perpetually challenge each other to be better students and better humans. Upperclassmen pour into underclassmen and faculty and staff constantly strive to give students the best possible experience. The classroom environment is welcoming, stimulating, and challenging and the beloved and respected alumni throughout the workforce are proof of the strong academics. There is always something going on on campus to get involved in. Clubs, ministries, sporting events, cooking classes, running groups, if you have a special interest or just like to stay busy, Anderson's campus involvement has something for you. If you are even considering AU, at least take a tour, it could be the best decision of your life!

Anderson University is an excellent school that values the academic as much as the students. I have met so many amazing people and had the opportunity to learn amazing things. The student activities go above and beyond to plan fun activities that engage everyone.

Anderson University is a solid school. It has a very vibrant, overall Christian, community. You will find a diverse group of students, from those who do not seem to care much about schoolwork to those who love thinking and learning. The teachers are caring and accessible, and the classes are quality and challenging for the most part.

Christ centered University committed to helping students obtain their spiritual goals and academic goals. Beautiful small campus with a family like atmosphere. Anderson is place that wants to help students whatever their needs may be. A home away from home.

I genuinely enjoy going to school here because I love being a part of a smaller school. I love the atmosohere and how friendly everyone is. The food is great and the professors are amazing as well. Every teacher I have had is willing to set aside time to make sure their students understand the material. The campus is beautiful, and the housing is pretty good. Some of the nearby areas are not so nice, but overall is a great environment.

I love the community that Anderson provides and the challenges that I am faced with in my academics. Anderson does feel like a home away from home. I believe that Anderson does give a firm foundation for whatever dream someone is wanting to pursue. The encouragement that all of the Anderson community gives is overwhelming, but I think without it AU would not be AU.

The best thing about Anderson University in comparison to other schools is the connection between the students and faculty. Through the Christian environment displayed on campus, the energy and excitement around college life is that much better. I believe Anderson University is an amazing choice for those seeking an amazing college experience.

When I first stepped onto Anderson's campus, I knew I would be calling this place my home. What really stood out to me was the Christian atmosphere; being a Christian Studies major, that was one of the most important things to me. Anderson has brought me lifelong friends and continues to amaze me with how the facutly also helps me feel as home. Anderson University may be small but it sure is a special place.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back and talk to myself , I would tell myself to try harder senior year. A lot of seniors decide to "slack" off their last year and have fun. I've never been a student that has had to try hard to receive passing grades. School has come easy to me and I always pass with little effort. As I prepare for college I know that just getting by and receiving passing grades is not acceptable. The next four years I am going to have to work hard and make excellent grades in order to become a nurse. I have to commit the information I learn to memory because it will be part of my job to know how to treat patients right! Trying harder my senior year would have helped prepared me for college. Learning the information from AP Biology would have also helped me in college instead of just remembering the information long enough to pass the test. If I could go back and talk to myself, I would tell myself that senior year in high school is not the end of it, there is still atleast another four years to my educational journey.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
So far, I have absolutley nothing negative to say about my university. The staff has been extremely helpful and have assisted with every aspect in the admissions process, registration process, and the financial process. Since I am new, I have not experienced anything bad with my school!
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
I wish I would've known how to manage my time better. It's hard for me to balance social events and academics. I am trying to study abroad in Australia, and it's been difficult trying to find a way to do that because I started looking at this so late. I wish I would've known ahead of time so I could prepare better.
The type of student that should attend this school should have a life centered in Christ. He or she should want to do everything for His glory, including any activities related to his or her major. He or she would have to be accepting of moderatly strict rules that campus provides. He or she should like a small family-like setting and should be willing to support their fellow students and faculty and allow themselves to lean on fellow students and faculty for support.
The best thing is the sense of community. Anderson's students and faculity are like one big, happy family! I love the fact that we have campus worship oppertunities and that we can all come together as one campus to worship! :)
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
Dealing with financial aid can be really difficult. There aren't nearly enough staff to help all the students. If you don't live close by it is hard to get in contact with them, and their communication over email is not very clear. Often times you need to really push for the information you want when talking to the staff at the front desk. Dealing with anything financially is stressful here.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
I think the small, close knit community on campus really makes Anderson University unique. If I do not personally know another student, I have at least seen them on campus multiple times before. There is almost the sense of family when I set foot on campus.
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
