Overall my experience at Anne Arundel Community was great and it’s a great learning experience. The teachers provide quality work and are well knowledgeable about the subject they are teaching. We don’t have a good student life or campus life but it’s a community college. No dorms or housing but they did offer some nice restaurants for meals. Overall good school can’t complain

AACC is the top community college in the US and it lives up to those standards. However, it is still a community college so few people get involved on campus and there are not many friendships being formed. The professors are extremely nice and helpful, through both the online and in-person classes. If you are looking for a community college, I would recommend it but it is definitely not a four-year university.

I believe this is a great place for kids to start their future. I am a full time student who also has a busy outside life and work life and AACC is so flexible so I can work towards my degree while juggling everything else. The teachers are also amazing and care about their students and their success.

I loved going to AACC, the campus was beautiful and inviting. Everything was accessible. I mainly took my classes online but I had access to the library and my teachers and my study materials with no problems. I only attended 2 in class classes, one was on campus, that was nice because I could really see the atmosphere and the other was off campus at a local high school. Both classes were fairly full and it was nice to have the professor right in front of us in case we needed a better understanding of our assignments.

I love my school. There is always something to do and always someone to talk to if you need it. There are service dog days, good food, inclusivity, and a general feeling of community when you walk in the door. I love this school and I feel like I'm growing as a person every day. Not to mention the cost. It feels amazing to be going to AACC where my opinions, autonomy, and feelings matter.

I think it's a great college, definitely helps cost-wise. Most of the professors are great and care about their student's success. Several of the classes I've taken have had professors who are willing to work with students who are struggling or fall behind.

Anne Arundel community college is a wonderful school that connects many different people together to learn more, allowing us to make new friends and do more outside of the classroom. Sports there is a great thing to get into. Also covid is happening this year so wasn't in class things but on zoom we still get the same experience just not in person.

I think Anne Arundel Community College is a great school. The class sizes are small enough that the teachers actually know your name. Classmates are able to work together more often because of this as well. The campus is not too big so it's easy to navigate around from building to building once you get the hang of it. They are always trying to advance technologies and stay within the times so that we are able to have a high education.

Anne Arundel Community College is a great start for those who are just graduating high school or those who are going back to college. The teachers are typically there to help. There is no on campus housing for students but there are places near by to live at. Currently building a new science building. Overall clean bathrooms and campus. Wheelchair friendly and has plenty of parking for students, faculty, and visitors. There is a Chick-Fil-A on campus and a Subway!

It is an awesome college for people that are looking for a two year community college to attend before going to the four year college. It has amazing programs that will allow you to get the education you need. They also have sports in order for you to get involved.

As I finish my last semester, I have no regrets choosing to go here before a four-year. The professors want you to succeed, and the on campus resources are great. There are many things, like career-counseling and health services, that I didn't know about until my second year at the institution. I wish the school would promote these more, they're very helpful and I feel like a majority of the students don't know about them. Little do those students know, their student fees pay for these resources!

AACC is a great community college to start off your career. This is my first year and I am a Nursing Transfer Major because I want to transfer to a four year school after my two years at AACC to get my Bachelors degree in Nursing. It is very affordable for those looking to save some money. They also offer many programs for you to start a career after 2 years. The nursing program for example is wonderful. They offer different career paths such as EMT, Registered Nurse, Massage Therapist, Physician Assistant, and more. The professors there are very helpful toward their students with open office hours, tutoring, and emailing you when you have questions on assignments. The Academic Advisors are very helpful when it comes to making choices towards your academic goals and scheduling. AACC is very diverse and friendly. I would definitely recommend this school to a lot of high school graduates who may not know what they want to do as a career yet because they have a infinite amount of careers to choice from in different fields. It is one of the best community colleges that was recommended to me while I was in high school.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I would tell myself not to give up and to believe in my abilities as a young man surrounded by negativity and drugs. My biggest life regret is that I never got a diploma handed to me and I feel ashamed of it knowing I settled for a GED. I would tell myself that if I did stick it out that a university will be so awesome and so different, so make sure that I take this last year to maintain good grades, because your future depends on it. Lastly, I would tell myself to not be afraid to ask for help and to seek guidance even if your parents do not help, someone will. I would like to note that I never was a high school senior. Thank you for any consideration.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
There really is nothing that I "wish that I knew" before attending AACC. I am a senior in high school and decdied to start college early and I knew that AACC would be the perfect starter for beginning my full-time university experience. AACC offers school for those who do not want to attend a more rigorous hard-working college.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing about Anne Arundel Community College is the minimal social life. Everyone has their own life and sometimes gives off the vibe that they do not want friends, as they simply want to get their work completed. While Anne Arundel Community College has some events on campus, most students go to their classes and leave.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
Someone who shouldnt attened this school is someone who is unmotivated and doesn't want to be further their education. Someone who is careless does not belong here.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
The school I attend is a highly rated, academic , accredited school.
It also has the degree program I was looking for and is farily close to my residense.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The most frustrating thing about AACC is no single branch has all of the courses a person needs for a degree. For example, I live near one of the branches. It's about a five to ten minute drive from here and my degree program requires me to take many Math, English, and other courses, but it also requires me to take many science courses where the only places I can do labs are more then half an hour away. So the commute to the different branches is very inconvenient.
