Broward college overall so far as an early admissions student is pretty solid. The teachers I’ve come across so far have been very passionate about their jobs nd this reflects into the students. As far as extra activities and student life there is almost always a flyer with activities catered to if not alll but most sets of people who decide to come about. :)

Broward College has truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It is not just a community college; it is a nurturing family that offers unwavering support and joy. The welcoming atmosphere, dedicated faculty, and diverse student body create a vibrant learning environment that fosters both academic and personal growth. My experience here has been nothing short of beautiful, and I am incredibly grateful for the invaluable skills and lifelong connections I’ve gained. I wholeheartedly recommend Broward College to anyone seeking a place where they can thrive and feel at home!

Its a good place to get your footing. It lacks aid for abstract professions such as foreign language interpretation and specialty medicine. it does provide a large amount of art study groups and has school plays regularly. Over all it can be the perfect school to get your start in life or for transferring to a university.

My opinion of Broward College is overall a positive one. If you don't want to dive into a college debts and just want an education at an affordable price, then this is the place to go. The campuses are pretty spread out but each offer advisors and staff to help and answer any questions you may have. My only concern is the availability of some classes. The classes tend to be limited and others are stacked on each other meaning that I can only take this class or that one, I can't choose both. Regardless, I would still recommend this college for someone who is not sure what they want to do as a career.

Broward College is good. You can find almost any class you need to take for your degree or for a future program that you are interested in taking. The professors respond relatively quickly from my experience. There are some hiccups with the system, but once you speak to someone, it can be resolved.

Broward College feels like my second home. It's a lively place with excellent professors and campus activities. There is always something going on, whether it is a campus event, a club activity, or a career workshop. There are helpful resources all over campus and you can never get lost with the friendly people and faculty.

Its a very small school with little to no campus activities. The few activities that do occur are very small and little to no students show up. Its very difficult to make friends because most people already have their friend groups established. It is not a very lively school if youre going simply to learn than this is a good school. I have had an incident where a professor was unprofessional.

It has many international centers that help students from different countries get access to education in the US, it also has a program called the Professional Enhancement Program improved my knowledge of the campus tools.

It's a community college but has 4-year degrees so not much to do. Professors for me were accessible during office hours to help students and plenty of resources on-campus to help every student. The food here is not a big thing and many people are here to get their associate's degree and that's it.

Broward college is a good college in terms of academics. You can find some great professors and the classes are not that difficult. The only thing I would suggest is that if your looking more involvement and events and your living for the party and sports life it’s best if you look into another college.

I really love this school. There are many campuses to choose from so it works for everyone. You have the choice to do online or on-campus classes so it is easy to accommodate everyone. Not all professors are perfect so I would definitely recommend looking up each professor on ratemyprofessor.com to make sure that the professor you get is a good one!

Broward College allows you to include yourself not only in the community, but it also provides an affordable education, that can open many doors.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Dear High School Self,
As you enjoy your senior year in high school please take the time to look forward to the future. Do not be afraid to strike out on your own. As you consider different colleges to apply to make sure you consider ones that may take you to a new place and allow you to meet new people. Stepping further away from home can give you a unique opportunity to grow, which will give you the confidence to succeed. When thinking of the future, a college, a major and ultimately a career make sure you follow your own passions. If you are passionate and enjoy what you study you will do well. It is your life to choose what will make you happy and ultimately successful.
Thinking of you fondly,
Your Future Self
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing about the school is that if a student is looking for the perfect college environment, they will be dissatisfied. It dosent offer all the extra-curricular activities that most of the other colleges offer.
The best Thing About My School is that the teachers care. Teachers extent there hand out all to help you. The School also provides tutoring for anyone who needs help no matter what the subject is. My School also rewards you for your hard work. They recognize you as a individual which all schools should do.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
Broward College has been a sort of haven for me since I've began attending. The atmosphere is very friendly and the professors are very knowledgeble in their respective fields. The school is located close to my home so commuting is very conveniant for me. However the one stand out quality of Broward College is the prices to attend are naturally much lower then that of state universities. Academically I excel because school is my my number one priority, however financially, I am not where I'd like to be. I intend to change that through higher learning at BC.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
The kind of person that shouldnt attend this school is students that are not positive if they want to expand there future of learning. Even tought Broward College is a two year institution it functions and gets you prepared to the four year institution. Students who think its going to be easy should not attend. Also students that are going to waste their time should not attend either.
Broward College students should embrace individuality because the school's moddo is "Define Yourself." A Broward College student should be willing to embrace cultural diversity and should pursure an education that teaches the individual how to solve problems that affect the global community rather than one specific population.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
be caerful with the counselers, because most of the time they don't do the right job, sometimes they'll just tell you things and clses to take but you really dont need to take it. Also, have a lot of patience whenever you go to admissions or financial aid, because they are going to keep you waiting as long as possible.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
There's not too much that I can really criticize about Broward College. The school has a clean atmosphere , and the excellent education offered for the low tuition fees is an absolute bargain. My only issues toward the school is that it 's a community college on paper. I only intend to stay at this school for my Associate of Arts Degree , then I plan to transfer over to a four year state university to complete my intended major in Sports Medicine. In due time, I plan to recieve a Master's Degree from a state university, not at BC.
I think that Broward College is an awesome place to get an education. There are many great professors who are actually involved with students. Also, there are very helpful advisors who will assist you in anything whether it's finding the right major for you, etc.
My classes are very interesting. There is almost never a dull moment in class. The professors are skilled and knows how to capture students attention so that they want to participate. They work load is reasonable.
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
80% of students attending Broward College receive some sort of financial aid.
70% were awarded federal grants.11%received federal loans. Many students do also need to apply for additional private student loans.
