Not allowed to disagree with a teacher during politics . tutoring is available and limited office hours. When debating with a teacher over a topic used to be a good thing, showing that you are thinking outside of the box, in this school professors get offended and embarrass you for your opinion.

I haven't had a teacher I do not like. I got along with my classmates well and easily although I never formed any long lasting friendship with anyone. Information is easy to find via website or on site. The food is decent, there is a nice plan where you can pay for a card and get food for free for a certain period of time. There are plenty of extracurricular activities to get involved in. I have seen sports events outside of school but when I began to attend there wasn't anything going on. The school does have spirit though. One day our mascot came and ran around the cafeteria and took pictures with people. I enjoyed the school very much. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the art department. It wasn't bad or anything it just wasn't broad enough to suit my particular major in art.

Carroll Community College offers a great and wide variety of classes and majors. The professors are excellent and so are classmates. I have never met a rude professor or classmate. Although I do not like staff members in offices like registrations office, financial aid offices, etc. I have had bad experiences with the majority of them. Getting around the campus is very easy, it is great. A lot of locals attend this school and I have met people who travel almost an hour for this school.

Carroll Community College is a great school that is local. A lot of times people associate a community college as just being a low, run down school that doesn’t offer things that private universities offer. Carroll Community College does everything possible to give the college a feeling of unity by having multiple events to bring the campus together. Carroll is unique by having sports, clubs, and a mascot. Also, the college offers a large variety of classes so there is always a class for everyone. I am proud to say that I am a student at Carroll Community College.

Carroll Community College is a great middle ground between high-school and a university. The campus is on the smaller side with easy access to all the buildings. The classroom sizes are ideal with some classes bigger than others. The students are overall very pleasant and it is not hard to make good friends. The professors and staff are all friendly, smart, and helpful people willing to help you in anyway. I wouldn't say it is a good school to stay at for the long run but it is an excellent middle ground.

It is a wonderful school for all students. It is only a 2 year school, but all students have an equal opportunity. It is a commuter school only. My favorite part about carroll is all the wonderful teachers, they are always available to help. The school even has free tutoring for students.

When i lost my sister to suicide last year I began to fall into a deep depression, I was also in the midst of my studies. The faculty and dean of the college were very supportive in helping me succeed and get through the semester. Overall if you seek help you will get it.

Carroll Community College is a great school for those interested in saving money compared to a four year institution while still gaining a quality education. The staff/faculty is amazing, with professors who have very flexible schedules and are committed to student success.

I believe Carroll is a very diverse school and it has a lot to offer in terms of academics. Even though it is just a Community College it is very involved with extracurricular activities. They also have a lot of off-campus activities such as trips to New York and Hershey park, which I have been on and really enjoyed. Overall, Carroll is a great school to be apart of.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Carroll Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I were to go back in time as a senior in high school, I would first slap myself over the head for my so called "studying tactics." I've never really learned how to correctly study, or learn the best way to study for me. I wish for all the tests that I took, which I somehow managed to get through, I wish I would have known the material and made it become embedded in my brain. The twenty year old Nicki would tell the loud mouth eighteen year old Nicki to hush up and quit talking while the teacher was, and actually listen and try to learn. I would also tell her to find a tutor for the math class I barely managed to pass, and get all my basic core classes' information into my brain for good, not for the semester. I wish I would have really listened when they said, know your stuff, because in college you can't "scoot by," you need to know it and understand it one hundred percent.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing is that not everybody is as involved as I am. A lot of people just go home after their classes and do not participate in campus events.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
The class sizes are small, so there are many oppertunities for 1-on-1 instruction with the professor. There were many times when I was able to attend a professor's 2nd class in order to get additional help on a project.
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
