I am a current dual enrollment student so I see the online side on the campus but I am open to all the resources like a full time student would be. I get regular emails about upcoming events and resources like tutoring. I do enjoy the classes I have taken here and am currently taking. It is a popular college for trade careers and associate degrees. Overall it is a nice campus and the professors teach well.

It's a good basic community college, no frills, no real extras but good for getting your basics done and transferring. The nursing program is very competitive and hard to get into. They do it on a point basis so I would recommend getting your CNA license ahead of time because it gives you extra points.

I think it’s great, I was recommended by my cosmetology high school teacher to go to this schools because they have a great cosmetology program, and so far I agree. The teachers are nice, everywhere I go there is always some activities to do and everyone is so nice and helpful.

I love Chattahoochee Technical College because it gives the overall best community college experience. They have worked so hard to become one of the best technical schools in the state of Georgia and I certainly would say they have done a great job at it.

I believe that Chattahoochee Technical College is a great school to start out at because it is an affordable way to obtain your education and with the small class sizes makes it easier to learn. The instructors are very knowledgeable and many of them are willing to work with the students to help them achieve. There are extracurriculars but not many sports to patriciate in. Overall very satisfied with the education I have received.

It's a good school for how cheap it is to go with proper funding from HOPE and all that. Otherwise, it's pretty meh. They don't really advertise well for the students getting together or involved in things, or at least, I never saw anyone trying things out.
Ariana
My overall opinion would be if you are trying to look into a great school but not as expensive as universities this is a great choice not only are you getting the same education but also for cheap
Blythenia
it is a nice school I have not had any issues to date

By the visits I took, It really seems like a small but favorable student environment. I would love to start off here because its close to home and the teachers seem very interested to help every student 1 on 1. The admissions office checked me off on everything I needed to have done in order to go there. It was like they WANTED me to come to their school!

Chattanoochee Technical College is a nice small school with every understanding and helpful professors. It has been a great first year of college for me! What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could talk to my "high school senior" self, I would recommend to save money. Although Georgia has the HOPE program to help pay for tuition, not much assistance is available for books. College Textbooks are outrageously priced! I would also tell my "high school senior" self to NEVER purchase books from the campus bookstore, and rent textbooks rather than purchase them. Another piece of advice I would offer myself is to never take a quarter/semester off. It is so hard to get back into school once you have taken a hiatus. Just stay full time until you are done.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
It is very flexible is so many ways. There are multiple programs of study to choose from. Also, Chattahoochee has recently merged with two smaller technical colleges, so now they have multiple campuses to suit the needs of students all over Atlanta and North Georgia. Students also have the option of attending multiple campuses at one time. If a class is not offered at the campus you are acustomed to, you can easily enroll for a class on a different campus.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
My school as of right now is amazing. All the staff are very helpful, and they answer all your questions. Even though it's a community college, it has to be one of the best colleges around. So that being said, I cannot write about anything being frustrating.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
When I first started school at Chattahoochee, I was nervous. There were so many buildings; I thought I would get lost. Gladly, everyone was friendly and the classes weren't too long and too short. The hours were just right. The library is very useful when students are out of class. Chattahoochee has tutoring sessions for students that is struggling on a subject. For instance, they have reading, writing, and math labs available. The tutors are very helpful. The school also provides a student life center, whereas, students can talk to friends and even play ping pong.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
The staff actually care about the students, and they answer all your questions in a very nice way. Many friends of mine attending other schools hate asking questions to their school's staff because it seems as if they don't want to answer their questions. I am very thankful that Chattahoochee's staff is very helpful because I have questions all the time.
The person that should attend this school should be interested in acquiring an in-depth trade or skill that involves technical professions such as Computer Sciences, Automative Services, and Healthcare, but one could also obtain great knowledge and training in Criminal Justice, Cosmetology, and Culinary Arts.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
A person who is not willing to work shouldn't attend this school or any other school. It would be a waste of time if he or she applied to this school and refused to come. At Chattahoochee, there are times to relax, meet new people, and catch old friends;however, the majority of the time the student will be in class learning.
