Clover park technical college is a good starting out college. If you don’t know what you want to be yet I would recommend here. The financial aid office isn’t the best you really have to push to make anything happen. Parking is okay could be better. The teachers seem to know what they are doing and majority of them are understanding. Overall I’d said a good starting out just to get credits college but not for an actual career

So far I am really enjoying Clover Park and wishing I had furthered my career path earlier in life. The staff and student leaders are absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful to a newcomer. I have attended quite a few extra programs and have been involved with classmates in a variety of activities. I especially like how willing everyone seems to lend a helping hand or to offer either advice or encouragement to one another.

It a good place to be at if you are a student that needs more 1 on 1 time unlike if you were to go to a university where looking for help and support may be harder to find. It is definitely student orientated and most professors are open minded and are willing to be as patient as you need them to be so you can be as successful as you please.

I love it! Everyone I've met so far has been extremely helpful and friendly, giving me a sense of confidence that I've never experienced anywhere else. Going to classes doesn't feel like a chore or something I'm "obligated" to do, it feels like a genuine experience full of joy and learning.

Clover Park Technical College is easily accessible. I meet with an adviser during walk-in hours and was seen in less then 5 minutes. My enrollment took less then 15 minutes to complete. I meet with someone at the cashier office and they gave me resources for scholarships. Everyone in the office was knowledgeable and friendly.

I love my school. I have always gotten help when I needed it and it helps that the college has a college 101 class that familiarizes us with the library, financial aid office, even the dean of the school!! I also appreciate the teachers because they quite understanding when it comes to personal lives of students. I mean they help out with the personal stuff! I have made friends and I've recommended my friends and family to clover park too.

I have been college bouncing since I first started post-high education-and have been at 4 schools since. Clover Park is by far the most accommodating and I have decided to finish my schooling here. Having been at Evergreen State College, Western Washington University and Pierce College, I have experienced fascinating courses but a disconnected staff, or just bad staff all-together. Clover Park offers the absolute best staff- my favorite of which was my Nutrition 101 teacher (Pat Scott) who is a Naturopathic Physician during the week and only teaches on Fridays. It was clear from day 1 that she was actively involved in the healthcare field- up to date on current news and facts and regularly attending conferences from which she shared her knowledge. I was very pleased with how not just much I learned in the course, but how much fun I had. She also emphasized the resources on campus and helped us new students orient ourselves. I took online courses as well- which was new for me but I was still met with great help from professors that would assist by email and offer office hours. In advising I also experienced great service- with patient friendly staff that directed me to resources and helped me stay organized each quarter. Overall very happy with my experience at the school.

I love it here! The instructors are always available, though they're not always helpful. But they do the best they can. I don't really feel safe on campus, there was a rape that happened. Since then no one walks by themselves, and everyone either has pepper spray or a knife on them. So be careful.

Clover park technical college is a great school. They offer a wide variety of specialized classes for many different careers. The student body is very involved and always offering help and entertainment for students. It's a very clean school also and has an amazing bakery.

The school is designed for you to be trained to get you to the workforce as soon as possible and so it is very hands-on. There aren't to many advanced classes you can use to transfer like Calculus 1. They are very slow in notifying you of your enrollment and financial aid status and so you need to keep track of your information. All in all, if you plan on transferring to a four-year school in the future, I do not recommend this college and instead are better off at a community college like Pierce college or Tacoma Community College.

Clover Park tech was NOT worth the the time and money. I was enrolled in the HVAC program there where you are forced to take ~25 credits a quarter and be in class 40 hours a week, no counting study or homework time. One teacher would preach something in the first quarter and the next quarter the other teacher will tell you to do stuff you just learned as unsafe and hazardous.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Clover Park Technical College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
So Christopher, congratulations on graduating High School! It's been 13 years, what a wonderful accomplishment, we should go out to celebrate. But then, It's time to get back to work. There is no time like the present while your brain is still focused on the academics already learned to build on that. It would be easy to take a break, simply take what work can be found, never returning to school. Yet, that is not the road to wealth for most people. According to most studies people who hold a two year degree which can be obtained in 5 quarters earn an average of $400,000 more over their working careers. 15 months is a small investment to make now and gives a huge payoff over a lifetime. A 4 year degree makes even more difference doubling the earnings of the person holding only a diploma. There are other benefits including more self esteem and great networking possibilities. Many great business entrepreneurs have met their partners in college. Let me help you get started, the work world can wait a few more years, you will be glad you did later, I promise!
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
Originally, I wanted to get into the Media Design Program at Bates where they have KBTC Public Television broadcast facilities. It is only a block from my house, but they were full and I felt like time was important. Clover Park has a two year Graphic Design Program, space was available and the people I reached seemed responsive and professional. I am a content creator so, the Graphic Design Program at Clover Park is a perfect fit for me and I will be better for attending.
