Cumberland County College

Cumberland County College is a very unprofessional college in my opinion. Upon the graduation of my high school I feel trapped in 13th grade. The education system here is not very challenging, and many professors have "dumbed-down" their course work so as to pass as many students as possible.

I would highly recommend Cumberland County College to anyone who is looking to kickstart their education. Cumberland offers a variety of options for all students no matter their age, previous educational background, or those looking for career change. They offer a top notch education that is also affordable no matter what your budget may be. Cumberland is also affiliated with many of the top rated universities in the surrounding area. This provides for a seamless transition for students who are looking to pursue an advanced degree. I would highly recommend Cumberland to anyone looking for a wonderful education.

The campus is not very big, the campus is split between two of the three towns that are in Cumberland county. The tuition is low and payment plans are offered if need be. Students and staff on campus are generally friendly, a majority of students are from the local area and tend to be older individuals.

I enjoy my time at Cumberland County College. It's a good choice for starting your college life, and is very close to home and near the shopping centers and restaurants. Although there's no housing because it is a small community college, it is not needed as it provides a great service for getting started for the people of the town who cannot, do not wish, or aren't ready to leave far from home yet. It's a good stepping stone and helps students to get in their basic classes for a cheaper and closer to home choice, and prepares the students for transferring to their next big college of choice, or provides great opportunities to continue near home in some other majors as well.

Cumberland County College is the greatest community college ever. There are numerous professors who care about their students and will got the extra mile for their students. Easy transition for high school students. EOF summer program is a great way to get familiar with the school before actually starting your fall semester.

Cumberland County College is a great place to start out as a college freshman and earn an associate degree. The advisors are very willing to help and always encourage students to succeed and keep pushing the limits of success. There are many activities to get involved in, including the Honor Society, sports, arts, and even religious activities. Many of the professors expect the students to strive for success and to care about their education. I would even recommend local University students to consider taking a few classes at CCC during summer and winter, to speed up their graduation.

I have enjoyed the smooth transition and love all my professors. Teachers are understanding and my first year in college has been a great experience. The cost is low but your still getting a good college experience while being able to be close to home. Not to mention the partnerships school on campus, which I plan to attend!

I think its a good college for all majors, as it is growing population and popularity. I feel like this school will be a good fit for me in the criminal justice major area. I think I will acheive highly there because of the great professors and the peers there.

It is a good campus. the only problem is it is not what you see is what you get. If you see people sitting on the grass in pictures, laughing and talking and studying. Then you come to the campus and you won't see people sitting on the grass. You barely see people, except when they are walking. The professors are kind and marry. They have good means. It's just the pictures isn't the same as the real think.

Cumberland County College is a good choice for a community college. It is a nice transition from high school to college because it's a little different than high school, but not an extreme change because the classes are simple and easy going. I think that the only negative thing about this school is that the credits don't always transfer.

Cumberland County College is a small, but resourceful community college. I recommend this college for people majoring in fine and performing arts. They have an excellent ESL/ Foreign language department. They offer courses in Spanish, French, and Italian. Also, I recommend this college for any science majors. The Science department staff is made up of some outstanding professors. Class size is usually 15 to 30 people. The professors I have found to be competent, knowledgeable, and easy to contact. The main reason to come here is affordability. Why do 2-years at Rutgers or Princeton when you can do the same courses at Cumberland for less?

CCC isn't as bad of a school that people make it seem. The course schedules are easy to work around if you have a job and there's plenty of space to have fun or study. The staff are helpful if you reach out to them. Professors are pretty laid back regardless of your major but that's because they want you to understand the material first before giving an exam. There's many events throughout the year, sometimes free, too! I've had fun here and I'm glad I went to a community college before a university.

Cumberland County College is a great route to go on in one's academic career because it serves as a segue into a four year university. Most students here choose to do that because it's far cheaper (thousands of dollars cheaper) to attend CCC for two years, obtain your Associate's, then move on to your Bachelor's. Another aspect about CCC is that your credits usually transfer seamlessly with universities in NJ such as Rowan, Rutgers, etc. Overall, Cumberland County College is a great college to attend. Most of the teachers are passionate about their work, there's plenty of clubs to immerse yourself in, and your wallet won't beg you to put it out of its misery!
