I love Stockton University more than I ever expected to. I enjoy being outdoors, and I doubt it could be better than Stockton. The gorgeous, lush pine barrens surround the campus for hikers and explorers and nature nerds to enjoy, and there is an abundance of outdoor seating and work areas for those who like to work in peace. Plus, one of the coolest parts of campus in my opinion, there is a lake by the name of lake Lake Fred on campus, with a trail that loops it and benches along the perimeter. In the classrooms, the classes are relatively small, closer to the size of what you'd find in most high schools. I consider this a huge pro, as it creates a personal environment with your professor, and you can always get help easily if you need it.

Stockton University is a university that offers a wide range of opportunities from academic to extracurricular. They have a lot of interesting clubs that can both relate to your area of study and also target your hobbies. They also have clubs that you can join based on your background. Some clubs that really stood out to me were the Stockton QTPOCS (Queer and Trans People of Color Society), the Indian Student Association, and the Stockton K-Pop club. I can associate myself with all these clubs and know that if I were to join these clubs I would enjoy my time there. Their academic programs are really interesting and resourceful as well. The nursing program really stands out to me because of the experience you can gain being a part of it.

My experience with Stockton University has been nothing short of amazing. I was recruited to play Lacrosse for the Ospreys, attended an instant decision day was accepted on the spot and each time I call with a question, I am able to reach a person who can answer my question within minutes. I think it is the best kept secret in New Jersey,

  15. What are the academics like at your school?

The academics of Stockton College are inconsistent and, frankly, a joke. For example, you can spend 50 hours a week studying and still fail, or you can never pick up a book and get an easy A. There is no intellect outside of class, as there is very little inside the class. The college does offer unique classes, but they are often very obscure and don't add much quality to the transcript.

  16. What is your overall opinion of this school?

Attention: DO NOT ATTEND THIS COLLEGE. They will rip you off with garbage, sub-par classes taught by biased teachers with little to no primary resources to back up their lessons. They will take thousands from you and refuse to give a cent of it back when you present a list of good reasons . They will make you jump through flaming hoops to pay that exorbitant bill, and then tell you that they don't take Visa. WHO DOESN'T TAKE VISA? They will make you wish you had never gone to college after all the nonsense and embarrassment they will put you through. They will provide you with mediocre campus facilities, yet spend millions on a marble fireplace. They will close your favorite campus facility and never re-open it. Stockton's athletes have been working out in closets for two years. They will do everything within their power to siphon money and enjoyment from your life. DO NOT GO TO STOCKTON COLLEGE!
