Daemen is missing the community that I believe I would feel at stony brook. Their PA program is amazing but I think I would miss out on the full college experience if I went to Daemen

I enjoy Daemen College for the academic program I have chosen. It costs quite a bit of money, so earning scholarships is a must if you receive little to nothing from FAFSA. I've met many new people from dorming, but the food is overpriced for what you get.

Daemen College is a great school that has small class sizes that I really enjoy. It also has an inclusive atmosphere and lots of opportunities for everyone on campus to meet people and do things that they are interested in. A final note is that most of the professors that I have come across are very helpful and treat the students as adults.

Great small, close-knit community with highly encouraging professors. I felt welcomed as a Wildcat from the moment I visited campus. There are a multitude of opportunities on campus for work, social, recreational, and academic activities to help students strive for their full potential.

Personally, I am deciding to go to Daemen College because the class sizes and the education there seem extremely beneficial and I believe I will greatly benefit in my future thanks to my Daemen education. I wish there were more clubs and activities having to do with music and drama.

Daemen College can honeslty be a much better school if some effort was put into it. The food can be much better than what it is because it’s litetally the same food every week. There needs to be an update on the menu and the options given. The social life on campus isn’t as good as it could be but if more clubs, programs and activities are offered then more students would be involved on campus and interact with each other more and it wouldn’t be as boring as it is.

Daemen is my dream college. I fell in love my first open house. I have applied and been accepted and I can not wait to become apart of the family. The energy at Daemen is like no where else. That is my home and I cant wait to live there. Some of the questions asked drugs and alcohol and saftey but me personally I dont know what goes on behind closed doors, but there is never a time I did not feel safe at Daemen and I know there campus security and blue light system is well organized and protective.

Daemen College is an excellent liberal arts school that specializes in their physical therapy and physician assistant programs. I love Daemen so much because the class sizes are small and allow for great one on one attention from professors. Also, I enjoy that the psychology department is small.

I wish they would put a lot more effort in making sure that their "diverse" students actually succeed and maintain a straight path on their education, I know it's not their responsibility but for a school that prides themselves on making sure you're okay, they don't seem to do that for everyone, and just like most institutions all they care about is the money.

I love Daemen College and I am more than excited to continue my future there. The campus is perfect for me, the location is ideal, and I love the people on campus. Also, the programs that Daemen has to offer are amazing. They have so many opportunities for the students and will do anything to assure success.

My overall opinion of Daemen College is that there is one common goal among students and teachers. The students are there to learn and succeed. The teachers are there to teach and enable success. With this common goal in mind, there is a lot of hard work, studying, and resources available that make success an option for everyone.

Daemen has given me the opportunity to thrive both academically and athletically. The professors here are always readily available, and always make sure students come first. I always feel safe and cared about here, I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else.

I'm very unhappy with the instructors at Daeman. Many of them do not put much into their classroom teachings and are not very helpful when you have questions or concerns. For the high cost of tuition here, the quality of the instructors should be top notch. Sadly, most of them are at or near the bottom. Also the nightlife and activities are not here. The campus itself has way to little parking and the buildings are quite dirty and outdated. This place definitely is not worth it.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Daemen College is 52%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
My school is an amazing place, they just built a new library to help reduce our campus' effect on the environment, it is the greenest library in western New York, and really draws in all of the students.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
Cost. It is so expensive and with the fact that its private i dont get as much aid. As much as i love this school and it is my new home, I have to transfer after this semester because I can no longer afford it.
Daemen College has a very respected Physical Therapy program. Many students come to Daemen to pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree, which can be received over a six year period. This is significant because all six years of schooling can be done right at Daemen rather than having to go to two different colleges.
the type of person to attend this school is basically any type. daemen college is a school for everyone and it offers many different clubs and organizations for a student feel accepted
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
