East Georgia State college is an in-between school. Most people attend East Georgia to save money on their first two years of college and then transfer to their desired university after that. Most students are local and unconcerned to make new friends. Professors are hit and miss. Administration is acceptable, but not outstanding. Overall, the school serves it's purpose: to provide cheap education and help your GPA until you can get where you actually want to go.

East Georgia is an amazing college! It might not be for everyone, but I enjoy the small class size. I also really like how close you are to your professors there, and they care about you doing your best. In big schools you could just get lost in the class, but not here, you have to be active. Being active during class means a better learning experience. It's extremely easy to make friends, because the school is so small, it's almost like everyone knows each other. I love it here! Going to East Georgia has been one of the best decisions of my life!

This College is the perfect fit for an individual who enjoys the "Hometown" feel of a campus. The faculty and staff are unbelievable and the assistance I received to set me up for the rest of college. As a baseball player, the sports were extremely enjoyable, everything is close together so you can walk from a basketball game to a baseball game just by going out the right door in the gymnasium. Anyone looking to go to junior college because of affordability, or maybe you haven't decided on a major, East Georgia College is the best Junior College in the state of Georgia.

I love East Georgia State College. I started attending in August of 2016. My overall experience at EGSC has been one of my best. I really met some cool and longtime friends. Everyone on campus is nice and helpful. There's so many tutoring options and support from teachers. All of the students are active and into things on campus. I love East Georgia State College!

I feel like East Georgia State college is a great college for beginning young adults who are just getting out of high school and trying to figure out what they still want to do with their lives. It is a great start to taking general classes about the first two years then maybe transferring over to a university or finishing their major at the state college. It is an great environment to be in and the people around us are pretty pleasant.

They are an amazing school with great professors and friends. I love it and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. I am going to play softball there starting in August and I can’t wait to get my feet on the field. I will be making many knew friends and also coaches who are willing to take the time with you and make sure everything’s right.

The thing is, I'm in East Georgia State on the Augusta campus. They are partnered with Augusta University. The academics are pretty good and the teachers are mostly available to help you (unless they have office hours that you can attend); otherwise, they are very helpful!

East Georgia State College main campus is a small campus in a very small town with a friendly atmosphere. It's a great college to earn a degree or to knock out your core classes with intentions to transfer to a University.

I love attending East Georgia State College from the statesboro campus. I come from a very small town, so a smaller school with smaller class sizes was great for my transition. I love the staff they are always willing to help. They have a great administration for academic advisement. This college is great for a starting college that is financially affordable.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for East Georgia State College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I would tell my senior self many things. I would advise her to choose East Georgia instead of Georgia Southern. I would also explain to her how important studying really is and that college is way different than high school. I would tell her she would have a lot of fun, however she would need to have fun only on the weekends, and not every night. I am glad that looking back now, I have changed and matured a lot as a person. I think that I am doing a lot better in school now than I ever had.
My school is best know for being a college that you can go for a couple of years then trasfer to a different college and most if not all of your credits transfer.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
I think this school is great for everyone. This school gives everyone the opportunity to learn and grow. The classes are a smaller size so teachers and students can really connect with each other.
