I enjoy going to the school because the people there are friendly and I enjoy being in their company. I also enjoyed the faculty there because they were friendly and inviting. I am friends with the bookstore employee, and she is charming. After school, she buys eggs from us.

This is a review specifically of the Clarkston perimeter campus. It is not for everyone, but I think it has a pretty good community college-like setting. It's on the smaller side of campuses, but there are a wide variety of types of students that attend. There also appears to be a high Muslim population if that is something you are looking for community-wise. I haven't had a particularly bad experience with any professors yet, but you must research for the best chances. If you are looking to go back to school, this is a good school. I've seen plenty of people like that on this campus and they give a lot of resources in the library and tutoring centers from what I've seen. There are quite a few dual enrollment/early college students on campus as well. This is something to consider if taking classes with high schoolers bothers you. It is important to note that the actual location of the campus. The campus is a woody area, so it is not odd to see things like squirrels and roaches.

Overall, Georgia State University-Perimeter College is a great choice for students looking for a high-quality, affordable education. With its diverse student body, strong academic programs, and support services, it is well-equipped to help students succeed and reach their goals.
It's worth noting that it's essential to research and compare different colleges and universities to find the one that best fits your needs and goals. It's also important to keep in mind that the college experience is different for everyone, and what may be a great fit for one student may not be the best fit for another.

I think it is a very great school to be in. I do it online but one year I will be going in person to meet to new people and connect with them. Also, be able to experience the social groups after school and clubs as well. I hope to have fun at the school.

I really do love this school and it’s dedication to helping it’s students get the best experience they can. I’m currently doing online classes and living in Houston, and they’ve helped smooth this process so much.
Brieanna - 05/15/2020
Georgia State University-Perimeter College is a great first step for students who are not ready to go to school full time or need to raise their GPA. It gives plenty of opportunities for Science and Pre-Med majors, these opportunities can include research opportunities and ACS accredited exams.

This college is a very good environment, there are smaller class sizes than most universities and that makes it easier to get more guidance from your professors. Great learning facility with awesome students and faculty. They offer amazing majors and pathways for students in all walks of life.
Au'vril - 01/09/2020
Great school. Class sizes are small but big enough to make it feel like college. Overall the school is great and small which is something I wanted. I love it so far. However, there aren't many sports to do or things like that, must go to the main campus for activities like that. There probably is greeks on campus but not like out there. Great school, staff, and professors!
Shanya - 12/05/2019
The school is a good starting place, especially for those who don't really know what they want to major in or who live near by and can drive or get a ride without spending a fortune on gas. It's also inexpensive to enroll at, so you can easily get your associates or transfer to another campus and more likely not pay anything by acquiring 2 grants through fasfa or the hope program.
Andrew - 11/05/2019
I love it! It perfectly meets my needs as a student who commutes and also works a part time job. The student atmosphere is also wonderful. I always feel welcomed and respected by everyone I meet, especially members of the student government. The teachers are top class too, and they make getting a true education exciting! GSU perimeter wasn't my first option for post-secondary education, but after just my first semester I'm so glad that I ended up here. Now I wouldn't have it any other way! Go panthers!

This is a great school. I would highly recommend this school to any upcoming freshman that have recently graduated from high school. This is school is such a great place just because the are it's in and all the opportunities that this school bring to the student that want to start their business early.
MOHAMUD - 08/29/2019
It is a great start for student who just came out of high school and want to experience college life. Plus, you only attend for 3 years max and go on to a bigger University of you choice. I love it.
Ariana - 08/23/2019
Georgia State University-Perimeter College is a good school to get your associate's degree. GSU Perimeter has five campuses you can choose from (not including the downtown campus). Each campus has its own activities and events but as a GSU Perimeter student, you can go to any event at any campus and take classes at any Perimeter campus. This means if the particular campus you go to doesn't have the class you want or the class is full, you can take that class at a different campus. Other benefits include; access the various activities happening at the GSU downtown campus, access to housing at the downtown campus, and the ability to easily transfer to the downtown campus when you've completed your associate's degree or gotten enough credit hours.
Nia - 08/19/2019
There were very helpful with my transition for my first year in college. Gave me a lot of resources that will help me with my day to day life, as well. I felt very welcomed and cared for by the entire staff at the main and perimeter campus.
Alexus - 07/16/2019
Georgia state perimeter college, in my opinion, is pretty great. The teachers are always available to help, they have multiple tools to help with your classes. They'll suggest that you get help if they notice you're not doing well. The people on campus are pretty nice and seem very genuine.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Georgia State University-Perimeter College is 52%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I would tell myself to study and build study skills.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The lack of pursuing a greater education, for the students atleast. I run into lots of young adults who tend not to care that they "skip class" or "don't do the homework;" sometimes I wish I were at a four year college.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The most fustrating thing about my school is trying to keep up with the work while working 2 jobs. The work is kind of easy but attending different classes each day ,it piles up the work making the work longer and sometimes not able to turn it in on time.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
GPC is a great start for anyone beginning their education, but someone who does not like a small campus should not attend GPC. The GPC campuses are small, and easily become crowded with a lot of students. With over crowding comes limited resources such as parking, computers, and a quiet study place. The students who want a college that gives the total college experience should not attend GPC.
In my opinion, I think my school is best known for preparing the students that attend for the careers they desire. Getting the best education possible to advance in this world in the profession that we choose. I would recommend the school I attend if you wanted to persue your education.
