It was difficult to answer some of the questions in the survey due to my college being a small 2 year school. Due to it being small there was no on-campus housing and I will admit that Gwinnett county is an expensive place to live in so off-campus housing can be more challenging. We did have a small cafeteria in the building where general education classes were given and I would often get a Chick-fil-a biscuit but, when my classes were moved out of the general education building I had no need to go since I did not live too far away from campus. There was a gaming room in the back of the general education building as well where people would play Mario Kart or Dungeons and Dragons.
However, regardless of the size of the campus I loved my time there anyway. I had the privilege of going to game development seminars where I got advice on how to succeed in my career path. I met wonderful professors who were available to speak to at almost any time of the day. They were patient, kind and extremely helpful. Especially one professor that I had that took the time to make sure that we learned the material and went above and beyond to organize events to give us a better understanding of what the gaming industry will contend with. I felt like I was given an abundance of material to help me succeed on this journey of transferring to a bigger school such as New York University.

Gwinnett Tech is a great college! I've never had a bad instructor- they're always availible and want students to succeed in their class. The facilities are nice, especially the newer buildings and I like how the programs have their own building. I would like to see the campus police enforce things like stopping at stop signs, crosswalks, etc. more because the parking lots can be a little chaotic. Overall, I love the school and think I'm getting a great education in Veterinary Technology!

I'm new to the family but I've heard so many great things about the college and I cant wait to see what's in store for me. I will be starting in the Spring and looking to have a great start. The advisor have been amazing and informative. It's a blessing and wonderful opportunity.

The staff at this school were very friendly. Each staff person would give me a different answer when asking questions during and after the admissions phase, so there was a lot of "going in circles" back and forth to different offices, since no one seemed to know the correct answers to any of my questions. The teachers were nice outside of the classroom but often very hard to work with within the classroom. You have to teach yourself a lot of the material to the point where the time spent actually at school in a classroom feels like a waste of time.

this school is made for people of all ages who are taking their time to get a degree, or a certificate. The staff here are nice as well as the students and available when needed, and most of the courses are easy to get to you online and maintain a decent/high grade.

Gwinnett Technical College is very good school in my opinion. The professors make it their goals to make sure the students understand their work and make sure they're available to their students. The campus life calm and funny, once month there's typically a type of an event for students to chill, have fun, and get to know each other or talk to each other. My rating of the school is definitely high, about 5 out of 5 stars,

I love Gwinnett Technical College! The students and faculty are great and everyone is helpful. Even when students get stressed or overwhelmed with anything, professors are always there to help as well with other staff members. It's only been one semester and I already see a promising future attending this college.

GTC is not the best option for someone looking to go to a good school. its mostly known for its dual enrollment program available for high school students, or for people that have nowhere else to go. the school overall is ok. the students don't really talk at all and everyone kind of does their own thing which doesn't make it feel good. its always really quiet and theres usually not much going on. professors are ok. they do their job but don't really do anything to exceed expectations.

It's not a bad school at all but if you're looking for the full college life experience you won't find it here. This school is good for those are there strictly to learn and get back to their everyday lives after class. If you're a person that doesn't do the whole party and greek lifestyle thing and just want a place where you can get in and get out, then this place is a pretty good match. However do not waste your time or money trying to get decent food out of this place as there is none at all.

It is a great and afordable school. The programs do a good job of teaching the proper skills and then teach the student how to make real world appliction. In fact their main goal is to get the student into the work force, without wasting anytime. If your looking to gain a satisfying education that will get you a job in what you love, then this is the place for you!

Great school!!!

I love Gwinnett Technical College. Personally, I love that the environment is so education-focused. There are always opportunities to learn outside of the classroom. There is no option for on-campus housing, which is why I rated the category one star.

I think Gwinnett Technical College is a very good college to get started on one's path to a career, offering affordable tuition, good courses, and fast enrollment. Being a community college, it lacks in quality that of what a 4-year college would provide to its students. Instructors are always very helpful and never rude or look down on their students. In conclusion, Gwinnett Tech is one of the best colleges to go to when starting a degree or getting a certificate, diploma, or associate degree.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Gwinnett Technical College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Self; Knowing what I know now you should have gone to college and stuck with it. You would be in a better place. If you would have followed the plan you would have finished law school and become a great lawyer. Slow down and take your time because it will go by quickly. There are no regrets but time is of the essence and you can do anything. Finish college and get the education you need in order to have a better more successful life.

The one type of person that should not attend this school is someone that is lazy. You have to be self motivated to go to any school, especially this one. So make sure that you are on top of your school work and maintain a good attitude.

The most frustrating thing about Gwinnett Tehnical College is the limited access programs in Healthcare. This is nationwide. Program directors can only choose so many students per year for their healthcare programs, such as nursing, radiology, surgical tech, and denal assistant.
I love my school because, with affordable tuition, acceptance of federal and state grants, tons of certificate, diploma, and degree programs, many online and night classes, and tutoring from the Student Success Lab, it provides an avenue for anyone to be able to pursue the education that may be the key to improving their station in life.
