I love the community of Harding University. As a conservative Christian, I am thankful for a community of like-minded friendly people where I can still receive an amazing education, play ultimate frisbee, and enjoy the scenery of the beautiful campus. The class size and professors also are very beneficial to the success of every individual.

Overall, it's a good school with a very good sense of community. It's very expensive though. The Student Aid Office is usually pretty understanding about money troubles, but will try to throw loans at you before scholarships, which is irritating to be honest. Classes and professors are amazing. Small campus, which is nice for walking.

I love it and the professors are amazing and make several atempts to get to know every student. The sports are amazing and they offer many different sports for all levels of players. The campus is absolutly beautiful with everything you could every need and the staff are amazing and always eager to help.

It’s a Great Christian school! It’s a place where no matter where you go you know someone. Professors know your name and invite you/class to eat dinner. There are numerous churches around so have your pick. A lot of business are Harding Alum owned. Chapel is a great aspect to your everyday life.

I think it is an acquired taste. Personally, I love Harding. They seem to actually care about my academics, and that is evident through what some would call their "strictness." However, these "rules" go to benefit those students like me who may need help staying accountable to their studies. The campus is beautiful. The people do not travel in cliques. The professors are always ready to help. And finally, the education seems to be top-notch.

I believe this University is top notch, with opportunity for me and many others. I have visited several times and talked to many students, professors, and even the President of the University. All of them encouraged me to pursue my dreams of entrepreneurship and the study of business.

I love Harding. The past three years have been a true blessing in my life. All of my professors pushed me to be the best student possilble. Along with that, they want to come along in the journey with me. They take interest in me and in my own interest.
Campus life is awesome. The biggest theme of Harding's campus life is community. We truly are a community that acts as a family. All in all, I love Harding and would recommend its education and campus life to anybody.

It's a nice school overall. Pretty campus, good faculty, good arts programs. It's expensive for what it brings to the table, but Harding's not a bad school per se. It's not for everyone, especially with the strictness of their rules, but some people have found a home here.

Harding University is a great Christain based college! I have always felt very safe and welcomed by professors, staff, and students that go here! Everyone is welcomed and their passions are respected and treated with great care and taken very seriously. Nobodys' needs are laughed at or thrown aside and if you need something there is always someone willing to help. Academically, Harding is unmatched. The professors teach very well and if students need extra help the professors will not hesitate to set apart time to help that student and make sure their specific questions and needs are answered! Harding University is the place to be!

I recommend Harding to those that do not currently attend. The professors really care about each student and will go out of their way to make sure that you understand the material. The people keep me there. Everyone is kind and they care about one another. There isn't too much to do close to campus, but we get creative and the people make Sonic and Walmart runs interesting. Campus is beautiful and I love walking around during any time of day. At the beginning, I was not planning on staying because I did not like that I was deep in the South. But being on campus, I often forget because everyone treats you with kindness and they are very accepting. I look forward to coming back in the fall!

It's a great place to visit or go to school. Everyone here is so nice and has respect for you. The teachers want to get involved with your academics and make sure you're passing because they want you to pass so they'll do anything to help you which is really important to me.

I love it here. Everyone is extremely friendly and Christ like. There is always things to do around campus, but there is tons more if you join a social club. Spring sing is the highlight of well, the spring. The arts are loved and they flourish here, but sports do too! We hold high standards for education, but if anyone slips there is free help for anything provided to students.

I love Harding University. I've visited campus twice and it's incredible. The people are all so welcoming and friendly. Faculty and staff quickly learn your name and work toward your education as well as having a relationship with you personally. One of the benefits of Harding being a small private school. They're all driven to make your experience at Harding positive, encouraging, and memorable. I 100% recommend looking into Harding University if you're interested in education from a church of christ view.

Harding has a great environment for students. It is a Christian school, so there is positive influence everywhere. The school is also doing its part to listen to the students and their requests for some changes. There is mandatory chapel every day. Although at times it might seem tiresome, it really is a great thing to look back on. There are many opportunities to get involved. Harding has clubs, Bisons for Christ (a day dedicated to giving back to the community), and is big in spring break mission work. The professors are kind and have regular office hours where the students can visit to ask questions. They are also willing to make time for meetings when necessary. The curriculum pushes you and prepares you for the next step in whatever your future plans are. It is great school.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
My college experience taught me that learning takes place in many different ways. Much of the knowledge I gained in the classroom setting at Harding University has continued to serve me in my career as I have taught at every level of education. I was taught to seek and search for knowledge and find ways to apply the best parts. This prepared me to be a successful educator in a seemingly ever-changing environment. Also, the experiences outside of the classroom prepared me in more ways than I could have imagined. I gained valuable experience in treating individuals with respect and kindness. As I have worked in different places and interacted with many different types of people from different backgrounds, treating others with respect and kindness has been an essential to the success of the students. Being able to work together, regardless of differences, produces an environment in which our students can learn and thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.

Harding University strives to be the best it can be while spreading the love of Christ to each and everyone one of the students and faculty members, and in doing so helping students grow in their faith and prepare them to go into the world living for God and sharing His word to all people.

I am attending school in Rogers for a Degree Completion for Education. It is excellent for non-traditional and working students like myself. I love that I don't have to leave work or change my schedule in order to attend classes. They are also accelerated classes, so most are complete in six weeks. It's intense, but you can get more hours in a semester without feeling like you are completely overloaded.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
The typical Harding University student is white and upperclass. There are more women than men at this school and most of the students have a strong faith in God.
The teachers' and staff members' willingness to help the students. It really helps alot when you're struggling with a class assignment or even something totally unrelated to class.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
How many friends I was able to make, our school rugby and basketball teams, how great the classes and professors are, and how much I'm able to focus on my major and how many classes I'm able to take that focus on my major.
People who want to learn a lot and get a good education, who are religious and dont mind going to chapel on a daily basis or mind having bible classes.
