The IWU-Marion campus is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds and modern facilities. There's a real sense of community here; everyone, from the staff to the students, is friendly and welcoming. The campus is small enough to feel intimate but large enough to offer plenty of opportunities. The academic programs at IWU are top-notch. The professors are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely care about their students' success. Classes are engaging, and the curriculum is designed to challenge you and help you grow personally and professionally. There's a good mix of majors and minors, so you can find something that fits your interests and career goals. There's always something happening on campus. There's no shortage of things to do, from club meetings and sports events to concerts and guest lectures. The student organizations are active and diverse, providing plenty of opportunities to get involved and make new friends. As a Christian university, IWU integrates faith into all aspects of campus life. This creates a supportive environment where you can grow spiritually while pursuing your academic goals. There are regular chapel services, Bible studies, and other faith-based activities that help strengthen your relationship with God. IWU offers excellent support services, including academic advising, career counseling, and mental health resources. IWU felt like home and it is a very safe and friendly environment on campus. IWU has amazing facilities and an even more amazing campus life, sports/athletics and education. If you are looking for a smaller, religious, science and engineering based university then IWU is the place for you.

My opinions on Indiana Wesleyan University are that it seems like an amazing college/university, so much so that i am even planning to go for my studies and possibly become a professional pilot. The campus is nice and the dorms of which i was entertained to were very lovely and relatively spacious. The libarary also seemed quaint, quiet, and a sweet place to relax and in general, study. Inside of the student center there is not only food, but also a movie theatre in the middle of the building. The people there seemed kind, unobnoxious. They all stayed within their own business or groups' business while i was attending for my visit at the campus to see how it would be to stay there and do my classes. IWU has a large recreational center, at least in my opinion, having two gym sections, a basketball court, and a swimming pool. Outside on the grass in some area which i cannot remember of, perhaps between the dorms, there is a sand volleyball area for playing volleyball like it should be played. Not only that, another fun part of the recreational activities is that they have a "campus golf", the game being golf likely with clubs. The game as i was told, is done indoors with a tennis ball and when they play the game they set down some holes and greens if i remember correctly, so that seems extremely fun. I would say that Indiana Wesleyan University would be a nice place to stay at and go to, and i would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to go. In fact, another reason why i recommend it is due to them adding a professional pilot program to their classes. That is the class that i'll be taking, and i just simply recommend the school.

I loved the professors I got to meet. They made my visit to the University so compelling because they were passionate about their subjects, excited to meet and talk with me, and helpful in giving me the information I needed. The grounds were also very nice; there was lots of vegetation outside and it was neat and nice-looking inside. My experience in chapel was great; I appreciate that those planning my visit made that part of my time at the University. If I could change anything, I would like to have heard more about student bible studies, small groups, and other ministry organizations there.

There are definitely improvements that can be made, but overall because of the small class sizes you have more accessibility to the professors. The school however is very expensive. Also some professors put their political views too much into the classroom.

Indiana Wesleyan University's campus is beyond beautiful and the perfect size! I love the atmosphere that both the staff and students create that make any new student or visitor welcome to their home. While class sizes are a little small, the professors always know all of their students names and have personal relationships with the students. Overall, I would rate IWU- Marion a 9.5/10!

“I’ve never been this excited to go back to school” is a common phrase among my fellow students during the long summer months. Indiana Wesleyan University is everything I imagined a college campus to be and more. IWU offers various forms of housing from the more traditional dorm suits joined by a bathroom to multi-room apartments. All buildings are kept clean, well maintained, and home like. The community developed in these residence spaces is strong due to the caring students and dedicated residential staff. Food options are abundant and well made by employees who love their jobs and strive to interact with students even to the point of learning their names. Students may sit down and enjoy a meal in the dining hall, pick up food to go eat outside on the grass, or grab a bite in between classes. The Recreation and Wellness Center has everything students need for an intense workout for sports or just to have fun with friends after a busy week of classes. The art programs also offer numerous opportunities for those wanting to further their skills and careers in visual, musical, and performing arts as well as those who just want to enjoy the arts. Not only does the residential experience, food options and employees, and extracurricular activities promote community and growth, but the academics are clearly a big part of the university. Professors strive to get to know and assist students in whatever their goals are. They are always there to offer a smile, help on a difficult topic, or a point in the right direction to anyone who asks. Walking around IWU’s beautiful campus, students, faculty, and staff greet one another, share in conversation, and give an encouraging word leaving all wanting to return for further career development and community building.

Indiana Wesleyan is a great university that provides a focus on spiritual matters and understanding God's call on your life. The environment is such that there are activities for people of any interest to get involved in. Indiana Wesleyan is a place where you can find family - a home away from home.

This is a great school if you've come to relate with your peers and professors and engage in your education through multiple facets of learning. Everyone is very friendly and honestly wants to see you succeed. I am so glad I chose to go to school at IWU and would definitely choose it again if I had to. It prepared me very well for my career/future direction.
Gina
I love this school and community. The best part is that everyone is so welcoming and nice. There is such a variety of stuff to do around campus and that best part is going outside and playing volleyball. That food is good and I’m there is a variety you can pick from. I have met so many great people and the professors are really respectful as well. Another thing I like is that our school has tutoring and consoling for us to use.

I enjoyed my time at Indiana Wesleyan University very much. I made amazing friends there and also was able to work well with the professors. I am very excited to see the start of some changes happening on campus. I am very proud to be an alum of IWU.

I am a double major (Nursing and Honors Humanities) and find the academic atmosphere very challenging, which I welcome. Academically, IWU is a struggle for most majors, but they also have a high job placement rating and great programs. The campus is high-quality compared to other college campuses that I have seen and has a very welcoming community and atmosphere. The spiritual life is also active with three chapels a week and multiple other opportunities to make up chapel credits. The food is high quality for a college campus, but the variety can be lacking if you don't go to Baldwin very often.

My overall opinion of Indiana Wesleyan University-Marion is that it is a great school. You don't have to worry about being just a number they want you to graduate and succeed in life. There is always something going on for the students attend and participate in.

I abolutely love everything I have seen! The students are amazing and so nice to talk to. The faculty are truly wonderful and very accessible. The campus is very modern and has so many terrific amenities from an on campus movie theatre to a recreation center and gym facility! There are so many wonderful organizations for students to get involved in, and plenty of leadership opportunities for everyone! I love IWU!

Indiana Wesleyan University has aspects that I wish were different, just like any other school or organization does. While there are a few aspects that are not quite ideal for me, IWU's community and love for people far outweigh them. I feel seen, known, and important to the student body, the administrators, and the faculty members. It is a rare thing to find a school whose professors invite students over for dinner in their homes and spend an hour and a half over lunch to discuss deep, philosophical and theological questions. I highly recommend Indiana Wesleyan University to anyone who is looking for a school to attend.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Indiana Wesleyan University-Marion is 73%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back in time and talk to myself in my senior year of high school I would stress the most how important it is to be confident with yourself and try new things. The transition to college for me was rough because I was a bookworm. I was afraid to make friends even though I wanted to becasue I thought it would get in the way of my work. I was isolated and that led to developement problems within myself and my identity. People aren't going to bite you and you will never know what will happen until you try. It is important to reach out of your comfort zone and make good relationships with people so that when times get rough you have a support group. Don't isolate, congregate! That is the motto I would give my high school self when she was on the edge of entering the college world.
The best thing about my school is the faculty. The professors at Indiana Wesleyan University, along with being well established in their fields of study, make themselves available to students outside of the classroom. Whether it is getting coffee at the local coffee shop or spending long hours working through calculus, professors at my school have a desire not only for their students to succeed in the class room but also in life. From custodians, cafeteria workers, to upper administration faculty at Indiana Wesleyan University have made going to college a great experience.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing about my school is probably that it has so little diversity. The number of racially diverse has increased this adademic school year, but the great majority of the school consists of white, middle to upper-middle class students from conservative backgrounds. I would love to see more students of different races and countries around the world. It would also be better if students and faculty were open to more discussion about new, original ideas and views that are not consistent with the perspectives of the majority.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
What I brag most about Indiana Wesleyan University is that it is a community that wants the students to be in a safe environment for learning and to grow spiritually among others that want to help. It is a great school where everyone is friendly and really want to make a difference in their career.
