Iowa State University is best known for it's colleges of Engineering and Agriculture. When meeting new people, it is not uncommon for them to say that their major involves some sort of engineering studies or agriculture. Especially being located in the midwest, a lot of students are majoring in agriculture! In my opinion, ISU is best known for its welcoming atmosphere and faculty. This is a studen't home away from home. Attending ISU would make you apart of what this college is best known for.

Iowa State is best known for VEISHEA, an annual education and entertainment festival held each spring. VEISHEA comes from the initials of ISU's five origional colleges (Veterinary Medicine, Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Home Economics, and Agriculture). VEISHEA is the largest student run festival in the nation and just another great reason for incoming freshman to choose Iowa State.

Our school is best know for our beautiful campus, and the adventures it offers. Not only is it physically beautiful, it s also full of passion and adventure. ISU has historically beautiful buildings, and it also offers modern spaces and places. The most beautiful part of campus is the people within it. It is easy to see even by visiting one building on campus that everyone there is part of the whole entity, and each individual offers something unique to the university. ISU allows you to choose your adventure, and that is what our campus is best know for.

There are many things that Iowa State is known for that I couldn't pick just one. A few things that stand out would be that we have the most beautiful campus located in an ideal college town. It is homey, but still state of the art. Hilton Magic is another staple that goes with ISU. Our basketball arena is like no other game athmosphere. All the fans are a family inside the Hilton Coliseum. Win or lose, we want to be there cheering! Traditions from athletics and homecoming to the zodiac on campus make ISU so great!

At Iowa State, we are well known for the VEISHEA celebration that is held in the spring. It is a tradition that celebrates each of the college on campus: Veterinary medicine, Engineering, Industrial Science, Home Economics, and Agriculture. There is a variety of entertainment and free food throughout the week. The cherry pies that are made by the department of hotel, restaurant, and institution management students are legendary. Students and staff wait in line for the coveted pies for hours. A parade is also held during VEISHEA week. The greek community decorates floats.

Our school is best known for VEISHA. VEISHA is basically a massive week-long party celebrating our students. It's a great time, just make sure to steer clear of Campus Town unless you're looking to drink.

This year, ISU is known for having record enrollment of all the big 3 universities in the state! They actually had to pay upper level students $1000 to live off campus because they wanted space in the dorms for all the incoming freshman. ISU is more regularly known for having a great engineering program and a beautiful campus.

Our school is best known for our great academics program, which is true. ISU has a very supportive community. There is opportunities everywhere to connect with people and get the support you need. We are also known for an amazing engineering program. This is not exaggerated! The engineering program is absolutely amazing!

I would say Iowa State is best known for its great engineering program, and top-notch fitness center. Iowa State offers many different engineering majors, and has industry leading equiptment for every major. It is a virutal reality room, that I believe is only 1 of 2 in the nation. Iowa State also offers not one, but two large fitness centers for its students and facility. They include swimming pools, tracks, courts for just about every sport, and a bunch of strength training equiptment. Making Iowa state one of the healthiest campuses in the US.

Iowa State is known for many things. Biggest is probably their VEISHEA festival in the spring, but they have also won awards for their beautiful campus and are also well known to be an excellent school for engineering and agriculture majors.
