At Iowa State, we are well known for the VEISHEA celebration that is held in the spring. It is a tradition that celebrates each of the college on campus: Veterinary medicine, Engineering, Industrial Science, Home Economics, and Agriculture. There is a variety of entertainment and free food throughout the week. The cherry pies that are made by the department of hotel, restaurant, and institution management students are legendary. Students and staff wait in line for the coveted pies for hours. A parade is also held during VEISHEA week. The greek community decorates floats.

Our school is best known for VEISHA. VEISHA is basically a massive week-long party celebrating our students. It's a great time, just make sure to steer clear of Campus Town unless you're looking to drink.

This year, ISU is known for having record enrollment of all the big 3 universities in the state! They actually had to pay upper level students $1000 to live off campus because they wanted space in the dorms for all the incoming freshman. ISU is more regularly known for having a great engineering program and a beautiful campus.

Our school is best known for our great academics program, which is true. ISU has a very supportive community. There is opportunities everywhere to connect with people and get the support you need. We are also known for an amazing engineering program. This is not exaggerated! The engineering program is absolutely amazing!

I would say Iowa State is best known for its great engineering program, and top-notch fitness center. Iowa State offers many different engineering majors, and has industry leading equiptment for every major. It is a virutal reality room, that I believe is only 1 of 2 in the nation. Iowa State also offers not one, but two large fitness centers for its students and facility. They include swimming pools, tracks, courts for just about every sport, and a bunch of strength training equiptment. Making Iowa state one of the healthiest campuses in the US.

Iowa State is known for many things. Biggest is probably their VEISHEA festival in the spring, but they have also won awards for their beautiful campus and are also well known to be an excellent school for engineering and agriculture majors.

Iowa State is well known for it's Veterinary Program and also it's strong College of Engineering. As far as non-academic features, Iowa State is well known to many by it's presence in the Big 12 sports conference. Also, ISU holds an annual celebration called VEISHEA, which is widely popular.
