What's the most frustrating thing about Iowa State University?

Caleb

It seems that binge drinking is the principal activity to participate in when it comes to experiencing a good night life. I have stopped drinking because I am enamored of physical fitness. Another thing I strongly disliked and found monumentally frustrating was that ISU promoted VEISHA (basically a party week for students) right before finals, making it quite difficult to focus on school work. Most times I refuse to go out when I need to study, but I found myself capitulating to the social events. Perhaps these events should not be dated prior to finals.

The most frustrating thing is housing. It is set up so that you register and choose your own housing online, which is very convenient. The downfall is that only a few places open up on a certain day and sometimes it's hard to find a place to live for a group of 4 that has 4 spots still open and it gets even harder as time goes on for smaller groups (especially two people, when all the four person places have three people in them).

i think there is nothing frustrating about my school, in fact it is so exciting and well organized and once you attend it you would feel that you are home with people who really love to help you and guid you to the right bath

Not getting enough money. So help me out please.

Nothing to this day has really frustrated me too much here except for some professors that don't really help their students with their work.

The most frustrating aspect about Iowa State Univeristy is summer classes. Most of them do not fill up to the desired about they wish, so the University ends up dropping them for the summer. I enjoy taking summer classes to lighten my course load for semester, but when something like this happens in the summer it tends to mess up my schedule for the Fall or Spring.

People who claim to have open minds and are said to be tolerant, but turn right around and don't care what I have to say. It seems they tolerate everything except me and what I believe. They think I'm the one who isn't tolerant. Go figure.

The parking division and the lack of parking there is on and off campus.

In my opinion, the most frustrating aspect about Iowa State University is the lack of diversity. While the University is making positive strides in increasing a broader range of ethnicities, the school still lacks a healthy blend of diverse cultures. I feel that it would be beneficial for the students to interact with more ethnicities while in college to better prepare them for the ever growing global village.

...the only things that frustrate me are things that the school can't control. ex: trouble on homework (but it is very easy to get help on your homework if you're proactive about it)
