I took an online summer school class at Ivy Tech Community College, so I can't comment on housing, food, facilities, extracurricular activities, and nearby shops and services. However, I was very satisfied with their online education. Ivy Tech's courses are very popular with students from Indiana University, who are interested in taking summer session classes or online classes during the school year.

Very good pastry program! The instructors are awesome and you get to eat lots of sugar!! ;) I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a career in baking!

I personally love Ivy Tech Community College-Bloomington. The first year I went to Ivy Tech Community College I was given the opportunity to go to Paris and help refugees in Calais. I just had to pay for my textbooks and get selected to go. I would have never had this chance anywhere else.

The Ivy Tech campus at Bloomington, IN is a nice place for people who want to focus on their education/get ahead of the game. I am a senior in high school and I have been taking Ivy Tech duel credit classes since I started high school. My school's partnership gives each student five tuition free courses to take on campus at Ivy Tech, and I am utilizing each of those! It has been great and the teachers are wonderful and always available!

Ivy Tech Community College is a great place to start your higher education and it's very affordable. The teachers and staff always want to help you and are there to make you succeed. There are also a number of groups to join and plenty of places to study and hang out with friends.

Ivy Tech Community College-Bloomington was a great school for me overall! I had so many dedicated professors who's main objective was to make sure their students were receiving the best education possible. To have access to such a great education opportunity at an extremely affordable price was well worth attending this school. I would recommend attending this school at least your freshman year of college to anyone. I have absolutely no regrets attending this school!

Ivy Tech Community College is a great choice for students looking for a technical degree or for an associates degree looking to transfer into a bachelors program. It doesn't have much of a social life considering that it is a commuter school, and the majority of students are not straight out of high school. Regardless, I am there to learn so that doesn't matter much to me. Their library is a great quiet place to study, and the student success center is also a great resource. Academically wise, I would change nothing about the school.

A wonderful campus full of professors who are always eager to help you succeed. This campus has so many great programs if you are looking to get your associates from there or even if you are just looking for a beginning place to transfer from. I will forever be grateful I attended this campus. This campus is the reason I am not a Dental Hygiene student at my number one pick for schools.

I love this school, they are very supportive, understanding and there are tons of resources for people of all walks of life. Staff is very kind and helpful. This is a great, diverse place to further education no matter what stage of your life you may be in.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back in time and talk to myself in the past, I would let myself know that asking for help isn't a bad thing. Relationships aren't necessary at this age and you should cherish every second you get to see. I would tell myself that studies always come first, and don't forget that you don't have to work yourself into the ground. Family is too important and chasing the almighty dollar and having things of minimal value is not worth anything. Don't lose your friends because your afraid they might leave you, because not talking to them will force them to leave you. When times get tough, take a second and smile, because you can't change what happens to you, you can only change with the times. Always strive to be the best you, and don't get caught up in what the world thinks of you, because its what you think of you that really matters.
The best thing about Ivy Tech Community College was the small class sizes. It allowed the instructors to give each student more one-on-one attention which was very helpful in nursing school.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
My school is unique because it is the most inexpensive. I am sure the Ivy-Tech interior design program it is not the greatest education I could receive but it is just a start of my future.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
The classes are very small and the teachers are very understanding. Its much easier to understand what you're studying when you can ask individualized questions.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The most frustrating thing about my school is that I can only take online classes, because of my inability to only be in school. I have to have a job to pay for school, so online classes are the only option that works best with my schedule. I like online classes but i feel that I would be getting more for my money if I was working hands on in a classroom.
