They do everything they can to make the college life easier and fun! When visiting they made everything accessible in one area, everything is walking distance. The community was extremely welcoming and many seemed to be enjoying what they were doing. My favorite part was the class sizes because they were small which means more one on one time with professors and they can keep you in line if you try to skip.

Overall I had a great experience at McMurry University. I was on the Women's basketball team for three years and loved my teammates and coaches. In school the classroom sizes are small. I liked this setting since it allows the students to engage and have a strong relationship with the professors. I studied Biology and in the Science Department all of my professors throughout my years were very helpful and want you to succeed. I am very satisfied with Mcmurry and would recommend it to anybody looking for a small Christian private school in a safe city.

Overall McMurry is a great place to call home. While the food and housing might not be top notch, the faculty, staff, and academics make up for it. I have been here for three years now and have loved every minute of it. People ask all the time what I like best. Easy... I like the professors. Are they easy? No. But they walk with you every step of the way. They make you better, not just at academics, but at life... at being human. McMurry is where I belong, and more than likely, its where many other students, including you, belong too.

Mcmurry University is a place that might not look the best, but behind the walls its a class school. With thrilling sports and exquisite academics, Mcmurry is an excellent school. In the cafeteria you get excellent food that will definetly impact your Freshmen 15. Everyone is always nice and polite. its just a great place to be!

I love it I would encourage everyone to go there although it may be expensive it’s worth it the education, the food, the friends, the memories are all worth it! Sometimes it may get hard to where you want to quit, but there are always people there who care about you all you have to do is ask.

Mcmurry University is a college I have been looking into for attending my bachelors degree. I had visited the campus and absolutely loved the sight of college students and the campus itself. I am hopeful to attend and be able to possibly be active in a sport for the school on the side.

McMurry is a small campus which is great because we're one big family. Everyone is super friendly and the professors are relatable as well as very involved in your education and in you as a person. I know I can go and talk to any of my professors about anything whether it be school related or if I'm just having a bad day. It's very easy to navigate the campus.

I think that McMurry University is a great college for kids wanting to be treated with respect and looking for a small college environment. Here you will personally know all of the staff and professors and will easily get help any way you need. I would change some things but overall its a great college to go to.

I love the atmosphere at the school. The students and staff were very friendly when I visited. By the time I left, I could picture myself as a student there. They do everything they can to include the students, and they provide a lot of services to make life away from home a little easier. The best part, they bring kittens and puppies up for the students to play with during finals week!!

My opinion on McMurry is that i think its a really great university. I would want to be part of the McMurry community since im already a senior and been highly reccomended by a friend that it is a great school to attend to . Im an athlete and i do cross country , soccer and track and if i would get an offer or something to do with those sports it would be really nice wearing a McMurry shirt and representing where i come from , so overall i would love to be part of McMurry University.

I love the McMurry Campus. It is small, easily accessible, and the teachers are amazing. I have yet to have a professor who wasn't available to helpful. The Faculty and Staff are beyond amazing. Professors are always available during office hours, and if your professor isn't there to help right away, there always seems to be a professor in the same department that can help.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for McMurry University is 48%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I would tell myself to visit the college and meet people, talk to future teammates, and classmates before msking the decision. I need to mke sure I have a plan and a back-up plan before going to colege unprepared. I would tell myelf to be careful of the people I talked to and meet because not everyne can be trusted and not everyone can be your true friend. I should have went to a school that I could pay for in scholarship money and not student loans. I would tell myself to not get behind on schoolwork because summer school is hard to do when you are out-of-state and no one will help you, so you have to take care of yourself. Lst thing I would tell myself is, do nit go to McMurry University becaue it eill be the worst experience of your life.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
At the moment the only thing is the talk of higher tutuion prices due to extreme budget cuts. The fact that a certian class may be four hours long, but you get only one credit for the class.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
I wish I had known more about the campus itself. I had never visited before, so moving was a fun experience, and I really mean that! However, had I visited, the move would have been a little smoother. I also wish I could have known how amazing our campus? Student Activities staff is! These people are totally a part of the student life on this campus and reach out to everyone they encounter.
McMurry is best known for class sizes, as well as the strength of the academic programs. There are nationally recognized professors of physics, business, and history. The professors are very student centered. Class sizes are between 2-45 meaning there is a strong relationship with these renowned professors.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
The small town atmosphere gives McMurry a more close nit, family feel to campus life. Unlike the other two big campuses in town McMurry is small and has more oprotunities to have one on one with the students to the teachers. And with the campus spread out it is easy to not only get to classes you may have back to back, but it is much easier to find them as you are an incoming freshmen or transfer.
The things that i love the most about McM is that it is just the right size, i wasnt looking for a huge school but one that was big enough to meet cool people. I love the professors are there to help the students in the best way that they know how, i just really love it here.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
The kind of person who should not attend McMurry University is the kind of person who does not want to stand out in the crowd or be noticed, because we are such a small universtity that everybody knows everybody. Everyone also has to take some responsiblity on campus it seems. So if somone just wants to go to school and never be noticed, McMurry would not be the choice for them.
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
99% of students attending McMurry University receive some sort of financial aid.
59% were awarded federal grants.79%received federal loans. Many students do also need to apply for additional private student loans.
