Middle Tennessee State University is a great school academically. They have several opportunities to get involved, and they have many places to go study. The Library is a great building that has several unique programs that help students to succeed. The overall campus environment is busy and cheerful during the week when it is warm. The weekends, however, leave the campus dead and sparse. The food on campus isn't the greatest in the cafeteria, but it is significantly better than high school food. The campus also offers many restaurants to students that help to balance it out. Overall, MTSU is a significantly underrated school. I believe that it should be larger, more popular school.

The proximity to campus, as well as the overall quality of living in the surrounding areas, makes off-campus housing a popular choice among upperclassmen. The dining services at MTSU are quite good, with a variety of options to suit different dietary needs and preferences. From fast-casual dining to healthier meal options, the food options available on campus are diverse and enjoyable. MTSU boasts excellent campus facilities, including well-equipped classrooms, libraries, and athletic facilities. The university has invested in modernizing its infrastructure in recent years, and it shows. Students have access to high-quality spaces for learning, studying, and recreation including a fairly new concrete industry management learning facility where I spend the majority of my time. However, there are still some areas where maintenance could be improved to make the experience even better. The class sizes at MTSU are generally manageable, with many classes offering a more personal learning environment. While some larger lecture-style classes may feel impersonal, professors typically make an effort to engage with students. Smaller classes in certain departments allow for more individualized attention, which is ideal for those who prefer a more intimate academic setting. MTSU offers a solid range of extracurricular activities for students to explore. There’s something for everyone, from clubs and organizations to fraternities and sororities to recreational sports. The university’s active student body ensures that there’s always something going on, providing plenty of opportunities to meet new people and develop personal and professional skills. While there are a few areas for improvement, the overall quality of education, housing options, and extracurricular opportunities makes it a solid choice for prospective students. As I am still acclimatizing to college life, I have felt generally satisfied with my experience at Middle Tennessee State University. Being a STEM major and a working student, I would say lots of my time is taken up by my academics and job, but I wish my university would challenge me more with events to make me enjoy and grow familiar with my campus as a whole. I only know the student union building, the library, and the science building, which makes me feel incredibly separated from the rest of campus and the student body. While I am satisfied with my education and have gladly been challenged to stick out amongst my peers, I also wish my advisor would be more willing to let me explore more of what MTSU has to offer. I don't see a reason why any member of MTSU staff would want to block a student's aspirations or creativity.

Middle Tennessee State University is the first University I have ever attended. My overall rating is a 5 because this school is an excellent institution. To begin with, the academic programs are superb and fulfilling because I am learning one of my passions which is flying. I am currently studying aeronautics and I love this subject, thanks to the professors and courses, I am learning how to fly and applying what I have learnt into practice. Moreover, I have met many new people from different backgrounds than mine who inspire me to be the greatest that I can be. Thanks to the school setting, I am able to make friends with all kinds of interesting backgrounds and build valuable relationships. Furthermore, the school cares deeply for its students because of the various services it provides. The school provides mental health forums, tutoring services, leadership programs, charity events, etc. I would totally recommend MTSU to anyone searching for a university.

While there is a lot of different things that can be done on campus, there are some concerns I have. Some of the campus events feel out of touch with not only the student base but reality, and people are pretty concerned over it. Outside of a few "campus culture" things, I enjoy going to class and attending here.

Academically, Middle Tennessee University stands as a paragon of excellence. The dedicated faculty members serve as mentors and guides, imparting knowledge and igniting a passion for lifelong learning.

This school has its pros and cons. As I've spent my time here at MTSU becoming a freshman about to be a sophomore has introduced me to more opportunities than I once had before attending this school, it has also allowed me to connect and meet new people.

Most of the staff and faculty I've interacted with are very kind and helpful. All of my professors have care and consideration for their students. However, the administration could use some work. Recently, something happened on campus that resulted in the death of a contract worker. The building it happened in was the only building closed that day. To me, it seems the higher-ups at the university have little consideration for the mental well-being of their staff, faculty, and students.

MTSU holds opportunities for all students with a range of offered majors. The campus is designed in a way where the farthest walk will be ten minutes away. Faculty and staff are kind and willing to help and answer questions despite the topic.

IT'S A GOOD CAMPUS, WITH A LOT OF OPPORTUNITIES

Overall, I have a positive opinion of MTSU. For the past 2 years, I stayed on campus. The campus living situation wasn't to die for but compared to other institutions it wasn't too bad. I met a lot of great people at MTSU. The community and environment are refreshing, bright, and friendly.

MTSU is a fantastic place for any new student to start. I am a non-traditional student, and have absolutely no issue accessing the resources I needed to succeed and transition outside of the army. The students here really care about learning, and are very inclusive to all kinds of different views and opinions on just about every topic imaginable.

It is generally a good school! I have had many amazing teachers and friends there, and I would encourage others to apply there if they are a Tennessee high school student with dreams of becoming something great without spending a billion dollars to receive a decent education with plenty of future opportunities. This is the kind of school where the education is everything, but having fun is just as important. The many activities and events the school has every week is INSANE, and I wish I had gone to more things my first year there. Overall, it's a great school and I wouldn't mind turning back the clock to do it all over again.

Middle Tennessee State University is a decent school. There are multiple opportunities for academic growth as well as personal growth. There are a lot of opportunities for students of Liberal Arts, Business, and Agriculture. In many ways, the University is a good place for someone who does not want a party life, but still wants to be involved in campus activities. I personally love the College of Agriculture. All of the professors are super communicative and kind and want you to succeed. They provide ample resources for job inquiry and career fairs, as well as will help you achieve the goals you have set for yourself if they can and you let them. Overall, Middle Tennessee State University is a good university and should be considered when choosing where to go to school. The tuition to Middle Tennessee State University also is not too bad.

It’s on an older campus and they are renovating it. I really enjoy the school and the atmosphere. Everyone is very kind and willing to help each other out. I definitely recommend checking MTSU out. It’s also significantly cheaper than the other schools so that’s also great!
