The only down side is the large number of people at the school sometimes means there will be larger classes.

I am not a city girl, i have always been a country girl so i dont enjoy being in the city. Other than that there is nothing that is bad.

The extraordinary size of the campus. This is the worst thing about OSU because walking to classes in the winter is incredibly cold.

Graduate Student teachers. Since it is such a large school, grad students teaching are incredibly common. I wish more of my classes were taught by actual professors.

Mostly that our school is very "tight" they do not seem much to allow for creativity. As well as if you are more liberally minded you will be shut down.

The internet here is completely terrible. It took far too long for it to get established and even after I had it, it randomly cuts off at the most crucial moments like during math homework or a quiz.

The worst thing about this school is the amount of people who come here because it's a large school and they want to party. There are a decent amount of people who are very irresponsible, however it doesn't really affect me at all. I guess it's not so much a bad thing for me because they bring the curve down but I feel for them and the image of the school that the represent.

The worst aspect about my school is that the distance the dorms can be spaced from some of the classrooms or facilities. The North Side of campus is generally close to all the classrooms but further away from all the social and general amenities such as the gym, library, student union and green space, while for the South Side it is backwards. They are closer to all the amusement and socialization, yet quite a walk from the classrooms and academic buildings.

It is hard to come up with a fault about The Ohio State University, but one may consider its greatest asset to be its worst quality, its size. While there are many positives to attending a large school, the downside is that were are so many people everywhere! There are just too many people to get to know.

The worst thing is the surrounding town. The area is very sketchy and people's cars and houses get broken into all the time. There is a lot of crime and homeless people, especially on public transportation.

I consider the worst thing about Ohio State to be the size of the campus. Even central campus, where most of the undergraduate classes are, is very large and takes twenty minutes to walk from one end to the other. There are many buses that are easily accessible, however, it is sometimes faster to walk due to traffic, and at night, not many busses run.

The worst thing about my school is that it takes twenty minutes to walk to class! This is mostly my fault, though, because I refuse to take the bus. Otherwise, there is nothing I would change about Ohio State.

The worst thing about my school is that the dorm and food costs are so expensive. Freshman are required to live in on-campus residence halls that must include a food plan, as well. The cost of living in the dorms and paying for food is far more expensive than it would be to just live in a house and buy food each month for yourself.

Students really need to look for the important information that they need. Students need to know the questions they need to ask. As long as they ask the right questions, THEN they will get the information they need but advisors/orientation will not give all of the information students need to know.

Sometimes having to walk in the snow or rain. Ohio weather is very unpredictable.

I consider the worst thing about The Ohio State University if their expensive tuition for an out of state resident. I just want to be able to further my education without being stressed on how the fees will get paid.

I think that the worst element is the huge classes. I came from a very small high school in a rural area and at OSU you do not get nearly the individual attention or aid. It gets smaller so to speak, as you get to knw more people and develop a close circle of friends but you can never get away from the courses that are filled with five to six hundred other students.

To be perfectly honest, there is no "worst thing" about Ohio State. Certainly, there are things I would like to change. For example, I wish my intramural ice hockey team played more than once every two weeks. I wish I was allowed to keep a cat in my dorm room. And, I wish my school was a little closer to home. However, I can't change any of these things, so there is no use complaining about them. In general, I am very happy here at Ohio State, and wouldn't change a thing.
