Sinclair Community College has allowed me to get a head start on taking college classes in high school. Their courses are very valuable and the professors know what they teach. The professors also never hesitate to answer my questions, even though they have very busy schedules.

I enjoy attending Sinclair Community College. For one, I like the easy access to campus and the surrounding facilities. Two, the buildings and class sizes are very ideal. Protection services such as police are exceptional. Thirdly, academics are very engaging and intellectual.

As a current student at Sinclair College, I have had a generally positive experience with the institution. The faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable, always willing to help students succeed. The campus facilities are well-maintained, creating a conducive learning environment.
However, I would like to offer some constructive criticism. One area that could be improved is the availability of extracurricular activities. While there are some clubs and organizations on campus, I believe that expanding the range of options would greatly enhance the overall student experience. More diverse activities and opportunities for engagement would foster a stronger sense of community and provide students with a chance to explore their interests outside of the classroom.
Another area that could benefit from improvement is the accessibility of resources for students with disabilities. While efforts have been made to accommodate individuals with diverse needs, there is still room for improvement in terms of providing comprehensive support and ensuring that all facilities and services are fully accessible.
Additionally, enhancing the career services and internship opportunities would be highly beneficial. Providing more guidance and resources for students to connect with potential employers and gain practical experience in their fields of study would greatly enhance their career prospects after graduation.
Overall, I appreciate the quality of education at Sinclair College and the dedication of its faculty. By addressing the areas mentioned, the college can further enhance the student experience and better prepare students for their future endeavors.

Generally not highly academically challenging. Although, a few teachers are amazing at teaching, not all at the same level. Some professors could teach a little better, and use class time more effectively and efficiently. Overall for the cheap aspect of it all, its worth it in my book. In a general price comparison Sinclair is the best value education on the market.

It's an incredibly underrated school. They go above and beyond to get their students where they need to be in life. The faculty and staff not only teach great things academically, but for everyday life as well. As we would say, "Start at Sinclair, you can go anywhere." It is so true, and I am a definite advocate for people starting their college journey there.

A great option for those looking to find an associate's degree for a job they want to pursue. The academics are current and relevant for any student. The buildings are great and the staff is extremely friendly. Other than that, Sinclair doesn't have much of a community. This bothers me. This could be because it's a community college or for some other reason. Sinclair is not ideal for those looking to make lasting relationships with classmates, professors, etc. Sinclair is the perfect example of "get in and get out" (which works for most attending).

It was obviously not my first choice, it was actually my last option due to some unforeseen financial issues. It is a community college so I do not believe you get the traditional college experience especially if you go to the regional campuses. You get what you pay for and that does not involve a whole lot of activities outside the classroom. The staff is super kind and extremley helpfull though so that is the one upside to Sinclair. But I feel like if you just need to learn and absolutely nothing else than this is the college for you.

I think Sinclair is a great school that has provided me an opportunity to get back on track for an affordable amount. The teachers that I have had thus far have been very helpful and continue to push me forward. I also love their online classes, that allow me to stay home instead of driving to class.

Sinclair Community College is a great place to get started. Tuition is super affordable, and there are plenty of scholarships to go around. I earned my associates for less than a thousand dollars; so I basically got the first half of my bachelor's for almost nothing. Sinclair offers a variety of articulation agreements with universities in the state, meaning you can transfer directly from Sinclair to one of the top colleges in the state.

Sinclair Community College is a great learning environment and place to begin before transferring to a four year institution. Sinclair provides a high level of education while also being affordable. The professors take the time to teach all the material and work with students individually if they are struggling. The campus offers many opportunities for careers and transfer options for their students. Sinclair does not have very many groups to join, but that is being worked on by students and professors in the departments. Sinclair is an excellent place to begin your post-secondary education!

I think that Sinclair is a great campus and I look forward to attending in the fall. They have nice teachers, a nice building, and good sports programs. They are doing construction and in the future hope to change from a 2 year college to a 4 year college which I think will be very beneficial to many students and teachers as well.

There are some great professors at this college, and much of the non-teaching staff is great as well. With that said, there's an overwhelming and deeply embedded source of greed within this college. I would never recommend this school to anyone, and I will never attend this school myself again. Let me share my story as briefly as possible. About 3 years ago I successfully completed one of their AAS programs. I did very well, got scholarships along the way, and finished with a GPA near 4.0. After completion, I registered for an additional semester. I did this because they offered some supplemental courses that weren't required in the program that I completed, but that I knew would be beneficial to my career in the future. I had insured that I had the financial aid to cover the cost of this additional semester before registering. Shortly after classes began, I received and email from a staff member (I believe from the Bursar office, but possibly from another office) informing me that because I'm not "officially enrolled” in a program that requires the additional courses that I registered for, they were pulling my financial aid. The fact that this is an uncommon and debatably ludicrous rule aside, this story gets much worse. At this point I was given two options: withdraw now and not have to pay or continue and have to pay in cash. I chose to withdraw from the courses, as paying the nearly $2000 in cash on such short notice was not possible for me at the time. I had already finished the original program and had a job in my field. I considered that a winning scenario and moved on. Fast forward 3 years, I receive a letter in the mail from the Ohio Attorney General Collections Enforcement division. This letter stated that I had an unpaid debt to Sinclair Community College in the exact amount that just so happened to be the amount that the final semester would have cost had I not withdrew from the courses. I called the office of the attorney general, who advised me to dispute this supposed unpaid debt with the college. The dispute process involved me writing a letter explaining what happened, faxing it to the attorney general’s office who would pass it along to Sinclair, and then the entire “collections process” is halted until Sinclair responds to my dispute. I write the letter explaining everything I just said here, except in much greater detail. Some time passes, and I contact the Ohio Attorney General again to check on the status of my dispute. I am told that Sinclair refused to take anything in my letter into account and are still demanding this unpaid debt. The amount of money isn't my problem. It's the principle of the whole situation. I was told I had the financial aid for the courses, then I was told (after registering) that they were pulling it. I was told if I withdrew immediately, I wouldn't be charged, but then they forwarded the bill to the state of Ohio anyway. The fact that they can play games like this and get away with it isn't right, but it's just the way it is. I'm not going to argue and fight over $2000. I'll just pay it and move on with life. I will not, however, stop talking about what they did to me until it reaches every future potential student and every parent of every future potential student.

Its great if youre looking for low cost but quality education. Great to save money for two year degrees then to transfer. They have great chances to transfer credits to other schools as well. The facilities are great and the food at my campus is good.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior, knowing what I know now about the above mentioned, I would tell myself that I was making the right choice by planning to attend Sinclair Community College. I used to be down on myself because I was not going to a 4-year university right away, like most of my friends, but I did not yet know for sure which field I wanted to enter. Had I gone to a 4-year right away, I would have wasted thousands of dollars my single mom and I both had worked hard for. Because I was upset with myself for not going to a university immediately after high school, I would tell myself not to worry because I am going far and achieving dreams of mine...without wasting money, which makes it that much sweeter!
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
I love the school. I DOnt have any issues with the school personally. I just wish the school as closer to me. I live in cincinnati and the campus is in dayton and its a 45 minute drive
Sinclair Community College is a school for every kind of person. There are many different ages and walks of life who find Sinclair ideal. The low tuition rate and superior quality of education are just two of it's many wonderful attributes. In addition, Sinclair's campus is in the middle of the Dayton, OH area, which is easy to access. My favorite attribute is that many of the instructors have worked in their respective fields for some time, which increases the value of education. Anyone who wants any of the above, without breaking the bank, should attend this school.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
The kind of person that shouldn't attend Sinclair is the kind of person who is not ready to work hard to earn an education. Sinclair is a great college where the teachers are challenging yet they are a ton of help. If a person is ready to take on the challenges that the teacher has prepared for them in the various classes then Sinclair is not the right place for them.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The most frustrating thig about my school is the fact that most teachers could careless if you pass thier classes or not. They do not spend time explaining and going over issues that may arise while doing work for the classes.
Sinclair is known for having one of the lowest tuition rates in Ohio. They also have very good transfer agreements with a number of four-year colleges to continue on and complete a BA degree.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
Before I came to Sinclair Community College, I wish I knew more about the activities that happened at the school. The activities held at the college got me well connected with a lot of different people and gave me a lot of motivation and devotion to pursue my degree in my life. Also, the many opportunities that were brought to my attention gave me even more insight upon pursuing my degree.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
I really don't brag about anything. I tell them how amazing it is to even have a chance at attending school. Even though it might not be my dream school, I am still going to school and I appreciate the fact that I can recieve the same education as if I were to attend a prestigious university.
It's a very diverse community and contains not only younger students but older adult students as well. Exposed to many new opportunities internships and jobs. Curriculum helps to reassure skills needed for future goals. There is something for everyone that is just starting or trying to better for themselves.
What are the most popular student activities/groups?
The popular activities/ group depends on the students. There is not really any popular students. Popular activities depends on the because the studenat may think that their activity is popular to them.
What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
A thought that can be adopted about specific types of individuals or certain ways of doing things. I think that it changes with every students over time as they contuine over time with their degree.
