I have only attented my first week of college so far but u am learning how to better manage my time. I am currently on the soccer team at my current college and that is taking up alot of my time. I am learning that sometimes you have to choose what you can ans can't spend time on. I recently got married and it is very hard for me to not have him with me. He is in the airforce and will be deploying soon. I could have went to live with him before he deployed but I feel that it is so important for me to be able to learn more about myself and grow more as a person, which I would have not been able to do if i wasn't attending college. I want to get two years of school done and get my prerequisites done before i move with him. It will be very hard but I dont want to end up like so many other military wifes that do nothing other than be that stay at home mom. I want to be my own person and make my own living.

I feel that I have gained a great amount of knowledge on what I am passionate about and that it will allow me to be successful in life after college. I have learned to be more tolerant of different people and the beliefs they have which has made me a better person because of that. College is such an unique experience that is filled with new knowledge, interesting people, amazing sports and an all around good time. I have no regrets about going to college and I would do it again in a heart beat because it is has made me who I am today and has prepared me for the world beyond the college campus. I would advise that everyone at least attempt to get into college because it does provide an extremely beneficial experience.

With my experiences I found that, while it is possible to be successful in life without a college degree , college not only enhances one's knowledge but also contributes to personal growth in terms of leadership and involvement. I have been involved in several extracurricular activities including the Student Council, the Budget Panel (organization responsible for allocating funds for clubs), and others. As the Vice-President of the Student Council and as a team we provided Book Scholarships for students in need, raised $3,000 for communities in Senegal and Gambia to help cope with lack of water, and held a forum/fundraiser for the people of Haiti suffering due to the earthquake. As an International Relations major at a two-year college I had a very valuable learning experience. However, my involvement on campus and in my community was critical because it encouraged me to pursue a career in social services and taught me to take initiative in my community. I am now in my 3rd year studying Social Work and I plan to pursue a Master's Degree and a career where I will assist families in crisis and children having difficulties in school due to biopsychosocial factors.

My college life has been an enduring adventure. As I continue my college education, I have found myself hustling more than I have ever before. To begin with, at the age of twenty one I had finally decided to pursue my overall dreams to become an Obstetrics and Gynecologist medical doctor. I’m currently a sophomore at Citrus Community College where I have been blessed with such incredible instructors who have made my college experience much more enjoyable. Furthermore, I have realized how much work I’ve been accomplishing today than I did in high school. College isn’t just a learning experience, but I feel as if it allows me to express my individuality. The more education I receive, the more educated I will become. First, college is a way for me to think about new ways to help society. For example, I think about the improvement of medicine and how it can save tens and thousands of people each day, and not only in the U.S but also in other countries. All in all, there are not many words that can describe the astounding passion I have in making a difference in the future.

Most people would say college has taught them about chemistry, biology, or math, but that is not the only things that I have gotten out of college experience. College allows you to search your own path, and create your own future. It allows students to have independence, and learn and live their own way. I have also learned with this comes a lot of responsibility, I have learned when I can have a social life, and when I have to buckle down and do studying, or homework, and balancing these things out really helps in the long run. I believe that I am going to carry with me my college experiences throughout my whole life, and be able to tell my children and grandchildren how great college is, and how it opens a lot of doors for the future.

This is my freshman year at the University of Arizona. My college experience so far has been an awesome one. I have met new people and have made so many friends. My professors are very nice and very helpful. Everyone here is willing to help with whatever you need. There are many activities and groups. I attended my first football game and had a wonderful time. The school spirit is so great here everyone is so school spirited. Attending this school has already proven to be very valuable because I feel like I have already learned so much, acedemically and socially.

"The college experience is an unforgettable experience" is what people tell me everytime I mention college or even just say the word. I recently just moved in a dorm, so far, a different experience. I mean I have to, literally, share almost every detail about me with someone I've never met. On top of that, the studying itself is something that needs some preparing for. I have no idea about how college teaching is like, yet I'm prepared for it in a way. Even though these aspects of college are intense and new, it's definitely a great experience and an unforgettable one at that.

The first thing that comes to my mind is the friendships and connections I have made. What is knowledge without experience? I study and do well in school but everything that I learn could never relate to the amazing connections I have made. Everyone at the University of Arizona is usually out of state or out of town, not many Tucson locals reside around campus. A good outcome of that is that everyones new home becomes Tucson and the U of A so everyone is so nice and wants to be friends and make their own home away from home. I have met the most amazing people and know I am going to have these connections for life.

My college experiance has been great! I have overcome some obsticals with having Bipolar Disorder that have made me relize that anything is possible if you just try and apply yourself. Time managment has to be the greatest knowledge I have earned from attending college. This has helped in college life while also a great help in personal life. Obtaining an Associates Degree has been the greatest acheivment in my life. I cannot wait to continue my education, then obtain a job in the accounting field or become a CPA one day. It has been valuable to attend college to make a better life for myself and my daughter. I have struggled all of my life to make everything better and now I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I have struggled with Bipolar disorder for many years making things hard to manage time for anything. Now I am so happy that I took the leap in attending college, and have the chance to make a better life.
