Perhaps getting exposed to the different areas of Business Admisitration.

Truthfully, nothing disapointed me about the school to the point of me wishing for prior knowledge of it. I was happy with what I received, and although it is hard to explore Reno, the experience has been well worth having.

Before I came to this school, I wish I had known what the weather was like in Reno. The colder months usually start in mid November and end around the beginning of May. Sometimes, the weather will be very cloudy and cold for a few weeks at a time, which can kind of be depressing. Also, the weather is often very unpredictable. One day, it can be windy, cold and snowy, and the next day, it can be sunny, warm and bright. My first year, I wish I had more insight about Reno's erratic weather.

I wish that I would have known that there are tutoring resources available to students when they need them. Granted, UNR has improved on promoting their tutoring center and such, but that has only been within the last year. Knowing about free tutoring would have saved me a lot of anxiety.

Not much more then I did. I did my research and lived not to far away from the school. It was what I expected, and I expected a lot.

I wish I had known about certain classes that I did not need to take. I was informed that I was required to enroll in a few classes that later on turned out to be unnecessary. However, despite this, I am content with the A’s I achieved in those classes and the new material I learned. I also wish I had known about options regarding living expenses and locations, as I had no choice but to rent out an apartment, without being informed of cheaper locations closer to campus.

Nothing, I was pretty well prepared.

I wish that I had known more about everything campus had to offer. There are so many different things available here at UNR and it is helpful to understand what they offer so that you re able to decipher what you need. I also wish I had known more about the finanacial aid that is offered. It would have been nice to have been able to set myself up with a financial aid advisor to help me figure out the process.

I wish I had been more decisive with my major of choice. It would have been easier to prepare for college. I also wish I would have known more about scholarship oppurtunities because I am a first generation college student.

Before I came to this university I wish I had known just how expensive college really was. No one informed me completely of the sky rocketing fees and prices for classes, meals, parking and tuition. I decided on going to my local univesity to save money but it is still quite expensive. Now I am searching for aid, scholarships, grants, a job and other means of money all at the last minute. I wish some one had told me to save up and research the prices of the university before hand.
