Great school to attend that is low cost. The teachers are friendly and always willing to help. They are all usually easy to get ahold of. The class sizes are small so it’s easy to get help if you need and not feel overwhelmed. The admission process was easy, a lot less stressful than other colleges.
Dustan
Yes the class sizes are small but that is what makes it so great, it gives you more opportunity to learn and you have a better connection with your teachers. The amenities are amazing because we have great food on and off campus and the university is based in a very friendly community.
Saben
It is a great school that is not too expensive. Definitely a good option for undergraduate degrees that will then allow you to transfer to a graduate degree. I have no regrets enrolling and attending Vincennes University and have enjoyed my time here so far while gaining plenty of skills and knowledge.

I loved Vincennes for the year that I was there. My professors were almost all exceptional, the classes were student friendly, the facilities were excellent, I can go on and on. I would recommend Vincennes to someone that needs only 2 years of school or plans to transfer. Also financially friendly.

I'm having a reverse culture shock, I come from the city where everyone is a lot more accepting, open-minded and not as religious. I love my small classes you can really get help and we have taken a field trip and plan on taking more in the future.

Good. I really think I’m going to enjoy my time there. The staff there have been really nice and helpful with getting everything together for me to be a student there and be comfortable living on campus and knowing what my classes are. They have a lot of things to offer for students to join and do on the university. Overall I’m very excited to be apart of the Vincennes University family
Lydia
It’s a good school for people who want shorter degrees or certificates with a decent food court and and okay living space. I completed an Associates Degree program through an Early College program and also spent two weeks there. It wasn’t an outstanding experience but it really prepared me for continuing my degree at another college.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
My classmates are very outgoing. We have the same people in all of our education classes. I really enjoy all of my classmates. We go out of our way to help each other when we can.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
Vincennes University is the oldest university in Indiana, but offers cutting-edge courses and technology programs, and the school faculty are extremly willing to assist students.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
What's unique is this is a small campus, most small campus don't have dorms but we do at Vincennes Unversity. What really makes this unique is we have smaller class at big Unversity its hard being in a big class. Where here we can get to know the professor and ask questions more easy. Then at a big college it's hard to interact with the teacher. For the people who don't have cars they have to carry their books all over a big campus which is a very hard struggle. Here we dont struggle to class.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
Someone who will be far away from their home and easily gets homesick. I personally am 5 hours away from my hometown and if I got homesick easily, I would never make it here.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing about Vincennes University (no fault of their own) is the location. I am a student that generally needs in-class instruction, but living in NY and needing an online program to finish my degree, I chose Vincennes. I wished that I had a program nearby where I live that was as affordable as Vincennes so I could have obtained in-class insruction.
Someone who wants to get into college but doesn't know what to study exactly. This college is perfect for that type of person. Its a great school; small campus but wonderful programs.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The Most Frustrating thing about Vincennes is probably the Fiancial Aid Office. Anything that goes through them usually has to be pushed through with several phone calls a day for about a week. It also seems to take them several weeks to sned out refunds also.
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
