AmeriTech College, now Joyce University has been an amazing program to join. Professors are attentive and easy to reach. They care about our well being and our success as students as well as future nurses. The facilities are state of the art and the education is incredible. I've learned so much and the caliber of education is great and keeps me on my toes. I wouldn't choose any other school to attend.

Over all I think AmeriTech is an amazing school for many reasons. One of the things that I love most about this schools is that they truly care about you learning. They want you to know the material and will do anything to help you learn it. The professors are always available to meet up no matter what, which truly amazes me. I am lucky to be going to AmeriTech.

I love Ameritech. It's a tech school so its not your average four year college. There is no housing or sports teams. We are there to learn how to be nurses. The staff is amazing and help us in any way that they can. The school offers study groups with TA that are recorded and put online for the students that aren't about to attend. I love Ameritech and think its an amazing place!
Aunna - 01/17/2020
Ameritech is a great school for a nontraditional student. The classes are structured for learning instead of just busy work and grades. The staff and educators maintain an open door environment, are very supportive of their students, and want to see them succeed. My instructors have provided me with extra study guides and resources. The teacher's aides are knowledgeable and have taken the same classes are are very helpful for studying and completing assignments. Your textbooks are included in your tuition and provided to you at the beginning of the semester which takes the hassle out of finding your text books, Overall, Ameritech makes going back to school possible.

It's a good school, everybody is really nice and friendly and you feel at home and safe. Small campus with no campus housing but nice because of the smaller classes and more individually focused. There is always someone available to help you and they always try to answer your questions to the best of their ability.
Tamra - 04/27/2019
I am so impressed with the attention given from all the administration and staff. I feel they are all cheering us on and counting on our success! The class sizes are not huge and you feel you get the personal attention you need. The acceleration of the college keeps you engaged and focused. The campus is clean and up to date in all areas.
Meaghan - 01/01/2019
AmeriTech College-Draper is a fast-paced accelerated college. The campus is very secure. It is important to make sure that you have your AmeriTech issued identification with you or you will not be able to take tests, nor will you be able to get into some areas on campus.
The classes are jam-packed full of information that you need to learn. The teachers are pretty nice and the majority of them will do whatever it takes to help you learn the material.
AmeriTech is not an easy school, but it is feasible, as long as you are willing to pay the price. Not only the financial price but the price of time and effort.
Elissa - 08/31/2018
It is a welcoming facility, the teachers are friendly and easily accessible and willing to work with the students. Not only are the teachers helpful but they are excited to see you through the program and into a lifelong career, building connections and relationships along the way.

I have really enjoyed being a student at Ameritech College of Healthcare. It is a nursing school, so we do not have extracurricular activities, sports teams, etc., but the professors are 100% there to help the students and want nothing but to see them exceed. I have went to UVU as well for college before, and I really feel like the teachers are so much more personal with you and have nothing but you're best interest at heart at Ameritech. I would highly recommend this school to anyone!

Ameritech isn't your typical college so there isn't really a "campus life" It has a very strict attendance and zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol. If you are not 100% dedicated to the accelerated program you won't be able to keep up. The only students that should be applying to this school are students willings to eat, drink and breath school. Having said that, that is what i am looking for so it works out great for me.
Alyssa - 07/17/2017
I haven't been there very long, but I have had a lot of bad experiences from past universities and Ameritech was the first college to really make me feel like I was intelligent, and that I could accomplish amazing things. I feel like they really feel I will be a wonderful nurse and are very encouraging.
Chelsea - 03/15/2017
My opinion is that it is a fantastic school, it pushes everyone to do there best in everything, and to work for it. Learning to save peoples lives isn't an easy thing to learn and they give us every tool possible to do that. With it being an accelerated program it is tough and hard but all of the students and faculty are more than willing to do anything to help us and me succeed in becoming the nurse that I want to be.
chelsea - 02/09/2017
This school is amazing. I love the teachers here and everyone is striving for your success. They want you to succeed and achieve greatness from your education! The nursing program is 18 months, its fast. But don't let that scare you away, if you have the determination to become a nurse this school is the perfect fit for you!

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Make a decision on what you want to be. APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS! Save more money so I didn't have to go in debt in the first place.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
My school is challenging yet very rewarding, it has the highest placement percent in Utah (90{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c}), it is a handson learning program that is very thorough.
I think that you get a great education here. I have learned so much at this school and I feel that after graduation I will be prepared to enter the work force as an RN. It is also great that it is an accelerated program and that you can be done with your degree in just 18 months.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing about this school is that it is a for-profit school. This means that I cannot qualify for many scholarships and grants that are only allowed for Non-Profit colleges. Also it does not allow for matching grants such as the FSEOG, this makes receiving grants and scholarships a little more difficult.
A person who knows that a career in nursing is what they want. You should be self motivated and be able to devote a lot of time to class time and homework. If you want to get your RN degree fast this is the right school for you.
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
