I have gotten the true definition of hard work, intiative, dedication, and the true value of friendship while attending Auburn University. I'm a firm believer of good things in life are worth hard work. I feel that things easily attained tend to lose true value to people. Hard workers take pride in themselves and the work that they do. Through hard work you automatically gain intiative and dedication, due to these being the main attributes of hard work. Having a high level of intiative and dedication makes your hard work very noticable by your peers as well as your advisors, and when they notice it you can bet your bottom dollar that it gets acknowlegded. While being at Auburn University i've also learned the true value and meaning of friendship. Many people take their friends for granted. But, I've learned that true friendship is being in a plutonic relationship someone and u grow to love that person like a sister or brother, someone you'd ask to be your best man or maid of honor at your wedding. Having a friend is always a good thing and feeling.

College has allowed me to spread my wings and experience alot of things I wasn't able to under my parents roof. I literally consider this time to eb the best time of my life because I can truly be my own person. The classes aren't boring liek they were in high school and i actually enjoy learning in them and going to class. I have made a lot of friends here that i know i can count on. College has made me a better person and it will keep getting better.

During my college experience, I have gained many valuable characteristics that will continue to help me succeed throughout my life. I have learned time management, and also how to prioritize my tasks. These attributes will help me in the work force as well as in my home and family life. I have had the chance to gain leadership experience through the many clubs I have been involved in such as Tiger Tuesdays (the freshman SGA branch) and The National Society of Leadership and Success. Auburn is also the ideal place to meet new people and make life- long friends. The university offers chances to relax and not become too stressed out about class, which in turn, helps students to excel in the classroom. I would not trade my Auburn experience for anything in the world and I am very excited to see what else it has in store for me. Your assistance in helping me along this path would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Part of the college experience is throwing yourself out into the world and learning how to adapt. Although my college experience has been limited to only one semester at Auburn University it has been very difficult yet at the same time very worthwhile. I have had to adjust to living on my own, as well as cooking, cleaning, washing clothes, and even paying bills all on my own. I have also had to “learn how I learn” as my academic advisor stated. One of the most difficult aspects of moving off to college was having to make a completely new set of friends. I was the only person from my high school to go to Auburn, so I did not know anyone. However, after a few days of going to class I found myself getting closer to my fellow peers. We would not only spend time together in class, but after class as well.

The biggest thing that I have gotten out of my college experience is better direction and focus in my life. When I started back to school, I had a broad idea of what I wanted to do, but knew that since I was trying to juggle full time school, work, and two children by myself, I did not have to luxury of not having a clear plan. Now, I feel as though I know exactly what I want to do and how I am going to get there, and I am not going to let anyone or anything stand in my way.

From my Auburn University undergraduate experience, I learned the value of sacrifice, determination, hard work, and family. The university is not only a learning institution but also a community. Students, faculty, and the community are all very open and dependable in the time of need. I couldve have asked for a better collegiate experience.

My college expierence began in the summer of 2009. At the time i was going to be starting senior year, and I wanted to have some expierence under my belt. I was able to add an english class, and the class helped me a lot in my writing. By taking the class I also learned how the college system works. When I started college as a freshmen in college, I was more prepared than my friends because I already knew how college worked. I have learned how to be independent, how to work under pressure, and most of all ; ive learned that a college degree is necessary to get ahead in life.

So far, in my college experience, I have learned to just be myself as well as to just be happy with what you are capable of. Meaning, not to settle for less but to not beat yourself up about not achieving the unattainable. Furthermore, it has been very valuable for me to attend Auburn University because I have learned a new sense of school pride and family which I did not feel in high school.

Having only been in school one semster I can't say what the most valuable aspect of the adventure has been to date, but I know that based on just these past few months it will be some of the best years of my life. The friends you make here, at Auburn, are the ones that you know you will be keeping for life. I know that everyone here has a sense of honesty and genuineness that cannot be passed else where.
