It is an amazing community college due to how much help you receive when not knowing what to purse in your education as well as helping when deciding to transfer after Chaffey. I have been having a breeze through my time here and have not felt alone or lost at all.

I was so happy to attend Chaffey. There are several Campuses that all have their unique offerings. Professors are attentive and there are lots of clubs to participate in. You will find you place at Chaffey and this school will help you move on to bigger and better things. I would go here all over again if I needed to.

Overall I am very satisfied with this school. It has put me on the path to achieve my academic goals. All of my professors have been kind and caring. Looking up my professors on the "ratemyprofessor" website before selecting classes helps. There isn't a huge "college life" culture that exists in this school that some students might crave. However, if your goal is to study your butt off, this school will support you all the way.

Not to be confused with a full-time student, I was still in high school when I began attending Chaffey College. I took about 10 classes and I was blessed with amazing professors. I even had a couple who were beyond extraordinary. I loved how available they were for tutoring and how well they taught their class. I always felt safe on campus even when I stayed there beyond 8:00 pm. Besides great professors, excellent on-campus police, helpful people at the admissions office, and an overall beautiful campus, I firmly believe it is a great community college and I will recommend this school to anyone who plans on continuing their education.

You can always count on councilors, professors, and even students for assistance, questions, or any help that you may need. They also have a variety of activities available on campus that you can be a part of. The campus is also very safe and it even has its own police station. Overall good school.

An over all great school. You can learn a lot. Professor really do care and want to see their students successed. You have a lot of learning opportunity in not only the classroom but outside the class as well. You will have a great connection with all of the students and staff.

I enjoy Chaffey College and it is a perfect place to find out what you enjoy. Anyone who lives in the Inland Empire in Southern California should highly consider starting their post high school career at Chaffey. Many students also eventually transfer to UCs and Cal States.

While attending Chaffey College, I have never gotten the feeling of community. But with that being said, I have not really tried to get involved in any extracurricular activities. I know that there are some available, but since it is a community college I have always felt as though everyone just comes to class and then leaves straight after because everyone is just going here to get their general education done and transfer out as soon as possible. So, for me it has always been that way and that is how I feel about the whole situation. That is not to say that the school is not inclusive, because they are, it just all feels a little distant and that each individual student is not really a priority. I say this because many students end up taking longer than two years to finish up at this school when it could have been shorter. It could have to do with each person’s motivation, but it also could say something about whether they are making the efforts to ensure that each student is on track with a guidance counselor and how concerned they are with keeping students on course to graduate. With all that being said, I have actually enjoyed most of my time at Chaffey because I have had many wonderful professors who have inspired me to work harder at really understanding a subject. If it had not been for a handful of invested teachers along the way I would have given up but seeing their passion for a topic really helped to motivate me to continue on. Thus, I gave the school an overall four out of five stars because there are some things that they can work on, but as for my education, I have not been disappointed.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Alyssa, college is great. It has everything you ever wanted in high school but was never able to recieve. The transition into college is a bit overwhelming at first but, it is nothing you cannot handle. Don't be shy when you first get into class, its not worth it! People just want to get in and get out but the time there is so short and you do not want to miss out on opportunites to meet amazing people with amazing stories. Do not slack off on grades because there is an honors society on campus you can join. Networking is so important, make your contacts now to get ahead later. Lastly, you've always wanted to help people and you will end up choosing teaching pre-schoolers as a career, open your eyes, all the signs are there. Do not be afraid to take chances, this is the time in your like to gain experience, learn a plethera of new things, and to make those networking contacts as well as friends. Time has a funny way of seeming like its on over drive now-a-days so enjoy every mintues because life is too short.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
I think the worst thing about Chaffey is there isnt many classes so when its regisration time for the new semester its really hard to find open classes.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
I brag about our brand new Center for the Arts Facility. It's so beautiful and functional. All of the studios have new equipment and table tops for students to use to their full advantage. It's really like being in a 4 year university's art studio.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
at this point in my educational plan i considered chaffey community college because is close to my home. i believe that community colleges are
a step to higher education. chaffey community college offers great opportunities for students who are planning to attend a four year institution.
chaffey is one of the best community colleges in my area because it offers a variety of couses for every student.
The school is known for it's great professors and very fresh atmosphere.Students at chaffey work very hard and you can feel the energy.Chaffey also has a great sports team that has been holding up well and the Art courses are top of the line, only the best professors teach here.
I consider the best thing about my school is that by going there I'm saving money on tuition instead of going to a Cal State or University for all four years.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
Very difficult to get into classes. Even when I apply on my registration date most of the classes have been filled. This usually means I do not get the classes or professors I want. Thusly, I get behind on the classes I need to take for med school.
The college really cares about getting you to your goals. I am so excited to become a student there. Everyone is really friendly and will always give you the time of day to help you excel your dream carrer
