Eastern Oregon University has helped me grow so much as a person. Not only am I growing academically but also socially. I have learned how to live away from home far from my family but still continue to strive. The professors have all been super welcoming and encouraging. They are always there to help and will take the time to help you understand the topic.

They are very easy to access and to speak with, especially the financial aid office, since the beginning of the winter semester I've had a lot of problems receiving my financial aid package from FAFSA, and the financial aid team. has been awesome in helping me throughut almost this entire month.

In Eastern Oregon, there are opportunities for many students who have many different interests when it comes to their future careers. The college has a major focus on academics and helping each individual excel in their own field. Not to mention there's a smaller number of students in the lectures so the professors are able to help and aid each student with problems they have.

Overall Eastern Oregon University is an astonishing school and by far the best choice I made when choosing Universities to attend. One of the best things about EOU is the OTP program which stands for the Oregon Teacher Pathway program. It's a program that helps guide future teachers and provides them with a 4-year plan on how to graduate. I also enjoy how easy it is to get in contact with professors and staffing. EOU has even held many virtual events to keep students engaged. I am glad to say I choose the right University for me.

As a first year at EOU, I believe that Eastern Oregon University is an amazing school with my opportunities and options that are available to schools and faculty. They definitely help make sure their students have everything accessible to their students in order to succeed.

It is a good school, with amazing teachers that dedicate their time to make sure you understand the material. Amazing campus, people are easy to meet and studying in groups is the best way to pass the class. The teachers always have a student from the previous year appointed to help as tutors to help you understand material if the teacher cannot help you. There are always great things to do outside of school and the school does provide events to help you destress during midterms and finals.

I greatly enjoy that Eastern Oregon University offers a variety of learning experiences to its students. EOU has many great classes that are held at its main campus in La Grand, as well as other onsite locations throughout Oregon. I have been able to participate in classes completely online, and because of this I have time to still work and be involved in my community.

It’s a good school with solid programs and well educated staff. The teachers want us to succeed and they care about individuals. I think the facilities are well taken care of. The setting for the campus is really nice. Safety is high and the student body looks out for each other. The bookstore is pretty good too.

Eastern Oregon university is an amazing place. The professors are very open and available whenever you need help. They are willing to put whatever they are working to the side to help the students. The facilities are all very modern and clean, the grounds are very open and if you love the outdoors you’ll love EOU!

Eastern Oregon University satisfies my needs and makes me feel included. I play soccer here, so I am in the know about activities that happen outside of every day campus life. I enjoy coming here each term, there is a lot to get involved with. The academics are top notch also, which I also really love.

I am a Business Student at EOU. It is a very beautiful campus and is very safe. The offerings of classes could be greatly improved. Most business classes are only offered online. EOU offers low tuition and ways to help you pay for college. If you are looking for small classes where you are able to talk to your professor come to EOU.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
"Let's party!!! Let's go crazy wild, man!!!" Yeah, sure, it sounds fun...but is it really the best option? When it comes to your education, consider what is important. Will partying like a rockstar get you the degree you need to be successful in life? Carefully select a school for higher education that will fit your needs now, and help you excel in the professional world later. It can be difficult to distinguish between what you want and need in a college, so utilize your parents, friends, and relatives; it's likely that someone you know has been through it and can offter excellent insight to what makes a great college experience. Once you have chosen the college that fits your needs best, continuously remind yourself of the positive things that will come from hard work, dedication, and determination; remember to reward yourself for achieving greatness one grain at a time.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
La Grande is a rural, agricultural community with a decidedly conservative worldview. There were a lot of rednecks in the bars on the weekends and it could get pretty sketchy sometimes. Winters were cold and long, but decent skiing is close by.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
I attend all classes 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} online and have never actually been to the campus. The only negative experiences I've had is with some professors not being fully engaged in their online classes.
The friendly atmosphere and the availablity of the professors to help you succeed. Classes are interesting and engaging and you learn lots of new material, and you are encouraged to learn about subjects outside of class. The professors are easy to get a hold of and ask questions and want you to learn and suceed. Many of the professors have a teaching assistant .
